Pro tip: Book a southeast-facing room to catch an unforgettable sunrise, and take advantage of the free 4-hour parking if you're just dropping in for lunch (otherwise, valet is $40/night). The breakfast buffet is decent, though a bit limited on options, but overall, it's a phenomenal experience.

An Unforgettable Eight-Night Stay—Our Home Away from Home!

We had an amazing eight-night stay at the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel. We came to Daytona Beach to drop our son off at college, and for the first time, we officially became empty nesters. What began as an emotional family trip turned into a beautiful and romantic getaway for the two of us.

During our first two nights, we stayed with our son in a spacious ocean-view room with two beds. It was quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Afterward, Mr. Perez kindly upgraded us to a gorgeous oceanfront king suite. His thoughtful gesture made our trip truly unforgettable! The suite was beautiful and spacious, and waking up to views of the sky and ocean from our bed felt absolutely magical.

The hotel has a wonderful oceanfront location close to the Daytona Beach Boardwalk and many local attractions. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to see beautiful fireworks and even a Falcon 9 rocket launch—what an incredible and unforgettable experience!

The front-desk team was so kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. A special thank-you to Mr. Eddie for taking such wonderful care of us and making us feel at home. The valet team was also fantastic—always friendly, attentive, and professional.

We enjoyed a special steak dinner at Cast & Crew, the hotel’s restaurant, and the food was delicious. We also loved the complimentary bicycle service. Riding along the beach during both sunrise and sunset was incredibly peaceful and romantic, with each experience bringing a different but equally beautiful feeling. On our final day, our son joined us for a bike ride, making the experience even more special. It was an incredible family moment and a wonderful memory we will always treasure.

This hotel gave us beautiful memories during a very meaningful time in our lives. After eight nights, it truly felt like our home away from home. We highly recommend the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel! We will definitely return every time we visit our son at college. Thank you for making our stay so special—see you again soon!

From the moment I arrived, I knew this was going to be a great stay. The hotel is top-notch—super clean, modern, and sleek. The lobby, bar, restaurant, pool, and guest rooms are all beautifully maintained and create a great overall atmosphere.

I was greeted by Frankie at valet, who was incredibly enthusiastic, welcoming, and eager to help get me situated. His positive attitude made for a fantastic first impression. Thank you, Frankie!

At check-in, Alynn at the front desk thanked me for choosing Marriott and truly went above and beyond. As a work traveler, she took the time to make sure I had a room I would enjoy, offered great local recommendations, and made me feel genuinely welcome. Her warm personality and exceptional customer service were outstanding. Thank you, Alynn!

Overall, my stay was fantastic. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I stay at many Marriott properties throughout the year, and this hotel and especially the service from Frankie and Alynn—stood out. I look forward to staying here again!

I will say this: paying $631 for a two-night stay, plus an additional $30 per person for a breakfast buffet, was extremely disappointing.

I have no problem spending money when the experience matches the price, but unfortunately that was not the case here. The best thing about the Renaissance was its beachfront location. Beyond that, the overall experience fell short of expectations.

The breakfast buffet was especially disappointing. On the first morning, we noticed burnt pancakes and eggs that appeared discolored, with some green mixed in among the yellow eggs. Because of that, we chose not to eat breakfast that day. We decided to give it another chance on our last morning, and unfortunately it was just as bad as we expected.

The pool bar also had a very limited liquor selection, which was surprising for a resort-style property. The staff was okay, but I came for the overall experience, and that's where the hotel missed the mark.

For the price charged, I expected a much higher level of quality and attention to detail. While the beach access was great, I left feeling that the value simply wasn't there.

Our group of 20 ladies had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Renaissance Daytona Beach Oceanfront Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, modern, and beautifully updated, which made our weekend even more enjoyable.

The amenities were incredible — especially the pool area and the easy beach access. We loved being able to conveniently rent beach chairs and umbrellas and truly relax by the ocean. The poolside service was superb, shout out to Sandra, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and welcoming.

A special shoutout to Greg at Cast & Crew, who provided outstanding service and truly went above and beyond for our group. He made our experience even more memorable!

We truly wanted for nothing during our stay and felt so well taken care of from beginning to end. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!
