Sarah, the manager, at the Midvale location is absolutely wonderful! She was so incredibly helpful, understanding, professional, and fair. With that said I will only be working with Big Dog Pawn & Jewelry for not only my pawning or selling needs, but for purchases as well. That same welcoming, fair, honest, professional attitude I received from Sarah, I had also received from Trent, the manager, at their Sandy location. It’s no wonder that both these individuals are in management. Thanks again to you both for making my day a bit easier.

The Murray location was open until 5 on the 4th of July which was a LIFESAVER for my family and I! Aidan and Cole were quick, kind, and very fair with my loan offer. Incredible customer service. I showed up 15 minutes before closing and they had my item evaluated and approved, loan terms explained, paperwork signed and my money in hand in 12 minutes. The store, in general, is also immaculately organized and prices are great. Couldn’t have had a better first experience here at Big Dog. Thanks gentlemen!

We're from Montana... We couldnt find any pawn shops that would help us or give us the time of day... Big Dog staff was exceptionally friendly and helped us to get back on our road trip. Highly recommend them. 5 stars hands down the best and friendliest pawn shopin the area!

Needed to find a place that would take my unique vintage rings that wouldn’t melt them down. Unfortunate failed engagement and wanted them to go to someone that would appreciate their custom make and care that was made in a jeweler in business for 30+ years in New Orleans (French Quarter). Got more than I expected and was treated with kindness and respect 🧡🧡

I've been meaning to review them for a while but these guys are great! They have a very friendly and knowledgeable staff! While the selection of items isn't massive, they usually have a few cool finds at very reasonable prices. Plus this is where I go to buy ALL my silver. They have the best deals around and usually try to adjust to the market to stay competitive! 100% would recommend.

This here is a photograph of my three favorite girls. Starting from the left is Mongoose then Merrilee and Lassie on the far right is Heather.

I made the mistake of not paying interest for a couple of months on heather and I only pawned her for $100. So needless to say Heather is a Gibson and probably worth more than my car.

When I drove by checkout a different item I was looking at and wouldn't you know they had Heather waiting for me in the package warm and cozy without even thinking to sell her out from under my feet.

I ain't had other pawn shops which I won't name ("Crown") do me dirty many times. So dirty sometimes that for example, I remember walking into the store to pick up a guitar which was a 2013 Gretch baby blue Streamliner and it was very expensive and very beautiful... And those juice boxes knew it too! I came in to pick up on the exact day it was due and as I walked in I noticed that baby blue beauty already behind glass with a price tag on it. The owner and I locked eyeballs as I walked in the door and the llook on his face was priceless.

Anyway, I digress. Let's just say that:

-I love everyone at big dog and I just want to give them hugs and snuggles and kisses for all the non-dirty things they've done to me.
-I appreciate their professionalism. I just want to say how much I respect the way they treat me as a person instead of as a crack junkie walking into the door, with a crumby pocket full of $5 bills.
- And lastly I want them to know that I will do business with them for the rest of my life...
... But I don't care how much I love them, they will never see Heather or Merrilee again. Ever!

Thanks again guys! + If you ever see me again, please remember this review and throw some big bucks my way. :)

Sincerely,
Oliver and Mongoose (The guy with the dog who's always barking in the parking lot when he comes in)

Everyone in here is super friendly and willing to work with you in whatever way they can. Super chill environment. Selling or buying with them super easy and convenient didn’t have to wait at all to get help. Jose was super helpful and made the stop here more fun than expected. If you need or want to go to a pawn shop I would pick this one

Very friendly & personable staff that actively engage with the customers. Johnny didn’t tell us something like “I’ll give you this much” & leave it at that. He took the time to research values & explain to the different issues (good & bad) for our particular pieces. Great experience!!! We’ll definitely go back & we would recommend them!!

Had a great experience at big dog pawn today. Trevor was great and worked with me on some golf clubs. Stoked and ready for the season but as far as the pawnshop, they were awesome will definitely go back. That was my first time doing business with them, and it was the way a pawnshop should be. Shout out to Trevor!!!

Gavin is fantastic!

He’s helped me several times, it’s always a super smooth transaction.
He goes out of his way, to earn your business every possible way he can.

He remembered my name, made eye contact, & was honest.

Everyone at big dog, is always super nice! Gavin & Jordan always go out of their way to say hi, even if they’re w another customer. If you’re deciding which pawn shop to go to- I HIGHLY recommend Big Dog! They always do what’s right!

Thank you Big Dog
( Scott, Gavin, & Jordan!)

I appreciate you!
I’ll be back soon ♥️

I was referred here because of a friend because I was looking for a Nintendo switch … I called to make sure that there was one and the store was opened. Cam answered and he was very friendly !!!! His tone was just great. Came to the store and was greeted with great service from Angela. Honest and answered all my questions! Great experience all around and I felt so comfortable purchasing the Nintendo Switch ! 😁

This is a great place to buy from. Customer service at its best. I was talking with Scott and he helped me out tremendously. He was texting me details about this guitar and answered all my questions. Him and his team did an amazing job packaging the guitar properly with bubble wrap to protect the edges and then by building a custom box. Exceeding all my expectations! The guitar arrived at my door step in VA from UT in great shape and it plays like GOD! You can trust them. Highly recommended.
