Catch Motion team was simply put so amazing to work with. Professional, collaborative and dependable from the start to end. Captured our events with the ideas we were looking for and also they went above and beyond by bringing their own unique creativity and perspective, which resulted in truly stunning and original shots! The team was on time with our schedule and ensured the shots we wanted made it during our packed wedding day. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of having Catch Motion Studio as the photo/video team for our wedding, and truly, they were one of the best decisions we made. Harjot and the entire team were amazing to work with — professional, friendly, and so easy to connect with. They blended in seamlessly with our families and made the entire experience feel effortless.

We started with an engagement shoot in New York with Parvinder and Guri, and even with crowds everywhere, they kept us relaxed, laughing, and having fun the entire time. They have this natural ability to make you feel confident on camera, never awkward or uncomfortable, which made such a huge difference for us.

Throughout the wedding week, the team kept us calm, guided us when we needed direction, and handled every moment (even the stressful ones) with such grace and ease. Their energy made everything feel lighter, smoother, and honestly more enjoyable.

And then seeing our next-day edit at the reception… it completely blew us away. Everything came together so beautifully that it felt like we were watching a movie of our own story.

We just want to take a moment to share the wonderful experience we had working with the team at Catch Motion Studio. From our first phone call, we felt genuinely welcomed and were put at ease. We had an incredible experience working with Catch Motion Photography for a dreamy engagement shoot at the National Gallery of Art! From our first discussion until the day of the shoot, the team was extremely responsive and communicative with making sure my vision for the shoot was understood. Day of the shoot, our the photographer was right on time and gave us clear directions to our meeting point. He was enthusiastic and made the both of us feel comfortable immediately. The shoot was a breeze as the energy was genuine- I did not feel rushed at all. The photographer gave great direction, provided upbeat energy, and created natural moments that were beautifully caught on camera. I had sent "inspo pictures" and the team made sure that i got every shot/angle that I had wanted. My fiance and I truly had so much fun- it was so easy it didn’t even feel like a photoshoot. We received high quality sneak peaks after an extremely quick turn around alongside a sneak peak video! I am SO happy with the results and I have also received amazing feedback from friends and family who were just in awe of the photos. I am so thankful to Catch Motion for creating an atmosphere of fun and love making the entire experience feel like a dream!! Could not recommend them enough!!!

As a small business owner, I dislike writing a bad review for a small businesses but felt that our experience may be helpful for others. We hired catch motion for our wedding in April 2025 in McLean, VA. I work with professional photographers every month for events for my business.

What they did well: They showed up on time, took lots of photos and videos, and stayed until the time we agreed on. CM also went above and beyond by providing us a full length video which was not in our contract. That was very nice of them.

Areas of improvement: The quality of the photos was very poor. There was little guidance and direction on different poses, angles, etc.

There are no portraits at the site of our wedding or in our beautiful backyard, despite the time we gave to their team around the property and the videos we sent in advance.

Our clothes and appearance was not adjusted up at all - we look sloppy in many shots. We were not prepped into how to approach our First Look. Most of our photos look very similar.

I believe we were also promised a short social media hype film - we have not received it yet.

The CM team kept telling my wife to stay calm and trust the process -- but now we wish we involved ourselves a lot more and made a very specific shot list (isn't this the professionals job?).

We entered this partnership with a lot of communication and trust, and now things are coming back with much lower quality than we expected, and with little attention to detail. Our photos and videos did not turn out like the stuff they put on their social media.

We were promised the highest level of service and even paid for extra time with their team.

Many of the photos of the two of us were in front of the house, foyer, and my getting ready shots were done in a dining room with no decor. Couldn't understand why they thought that's the best place for getting ready shots.

Corresponding with their team after the event was difficult. Turnaround times for small edits take a long time. I've learned that the supply of Indian wedding photographers in the area are low, so they are very busy. I would not hire them again, but if you are considering, I would ask to pay half up front and half after delivery of the work to align the incentives for a better turnaround of the photos and videos.

Very sad with our how our wedding photos turned out.

Update: CM reached out and offered us another photo shoot to ensure we have some photos that we're happy with. While we cant go back in time and reshoot our wedding day, they are trying to make things right moving forward.

Catch Motion did an amazing job with the photos and video for my walima (wedding reception). They were professional, on time, and captured the beautiful moments of this event for my wife and I. They had the edited pictures out to us very quickly after the event which was really impressive. The quality was amazing - both my wife and I as well as our family and friends loved them. The video highlight they made for us of the event was amazing too - they were able to get the essence of our event in a short video.

Harjot..where to begin! We recently got married and used Catch Motion for photography and videography. We originally had another vendor but switched to Catch Motion halfway through and it ended up being one of the best decisions we made. During the planning process, we had a few detailed conversations about the style we were looking for and Harjot exceeded all of our expectations! We still can’t believe our photos came out as beautiful as they did. Harjot is so passionate about his work--it was obvious throughout the entire weekend. Not only does he take his work seriously, but he also is so sweet and kind. He was very involved with our both of our families and made them feel comfortable and confident. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming to spend time doing photos/videos during such a busy weekend, but all we can say is trust the process because it is well worth it!
