I recently had my two dogs stay at Anacare and I was so happy with the place, the renovations are amazing and the kennels are the largest I have ever seen. I had my dogs groomed before picking them up which was very nice too! I will definitely take them back.

I've been going to the kennel for a while now despite what people have to say. I believe as if the kennel is under new management now and the survives are tremendous now! and very convenient in surrey. All the best in the feature and the best of luck. to the new owners thanks you.

I think the place is under new management again, I just picked my dog up from there and I was really pleased with how clean the place was. The girl even offered to bath my dog before I picked him up. I think they really care about the animals there, I will for sure take Rocky there again.

I have visited anacare a few times since tanya left, the new owner is a nice guy who seems to know how to comunicate well with dogs.He was very helpful when training coco was becoming an issue,I must say the renovations are beautiful,it dosen't feel like i'm leaving coco in a kennel but more like a hotel, definatly the nicest kennel in town.

Tanya was a sweetheart and she truly loved the animals. She has returned to her homeland New Zealand, and I doubt if she will ever return. My friend has taken her dog to Ana Care since Tanya left, but says that the "cash only" policy is strange, and coupled with the fact that the new owner will NOT allow her to go into the back to see where the dogs are, has left her uncomfortable. I will not use this kennel again either.

Tania was **amazing**, but sadly she no longer owns Anacare. I've left my dogs with the new owner a couple of times, but won't go back there. Didn't have a bad experience, but the level of service and love for the dogs isn't there anymore. And the "cash only" payment policy is a huge inconvenience.
Fingers crossed that Tania will be back doing dog boarding in Surrey again one day. And when she is, I'll be first in line. But until then, Anacare is off my list.

I don't think Tania is there any more. I left my dog at Anacare last week, for four days. I didn't recognize anyone working there from past visits over the years.
When I went to pick up my pooch, I paid (they made no move to go get my dog until after I paid cash - they only accept cash) and then the guy went back to get my dog. When he brought him out, the poor dog *REAKED* of feces. I said, "he smells a bit pooey" and the guy replied "oh, I think he just farted", which, given the stench coming off my dog and the obvious matting of his fur in places, was an insult to anyone's intelligence. I can't imagine what the back area of that kennel must smell like.
So I had to put my dog in my car to take him home, during which the smell was unbearable, even with the windows open. When I got him home, I took him straight to the bathroom and gave him a bath. The water coming off him was very noticeably brownish-yellow feces-water. I had to shampoo my car interior to get the smell out of it.
So, as good as Anacare has been in the past, it's not the same place any more. I'll never take my dog there again.

I've been taking my dog to Anacare for years - he doesn't even turn around to look at me when Tanya takes him as he is so happy to see her! He is always in great shape when I pick him up and has been there after two extensive surgeries - Tanya has taken wonderful care of him AND he actually listens to her.
