We are from out of state and reached out to Hope Home inspections to conduct an inspection on our new build. From the beginning, the staff was very professional and helpful in setting up the appointment and providing me information about what I could expect. Justin, who did the actual inspection, advise me of when he arrived and called after the inspection to go over what he found. We received the report the next day as promised. We liked the layout of the report and the pictures that were included. The only thing I could recommend is that they add a little more detail as to where the issue was found within the house. Overall great experience!

Our realtor recommended Hope Home Inspection for a house we put an offer on. Hope had great customer service and were easy to work with even on short notice. When I left a message I would get a call back almost immediately. The website clearly explains what is being inspected and why. There are additional services you can add on which are also explained. Our inspector Jerry was very thorough and pleasant. We arrived at 12:30 for a 1pm inspection and he was already there. He was very patient and took his time to explain things to us. He issued the report that same evening! The entire experience was excellent, from setting up the appointment to making payment on their portal. Highly recommend.

Hope Home Inspections was so easy to do business with. I initially made a call on Thursday, 09/25/25 to inquire about getting 4 Point (Roof, Plumbing, A/C & Electrical) inspection done on a newly purchased property in Sarasota for insurance purposes. The Receptionist was personable and knowledgeable. She was able to schedule the inspection for the next day Friday, 09/26/25 at 3:00 p.m. The agreement and payment options were emailed to me on Thursday afternoon. After my debit transfer payment was made, the inspection date & time was re-confirmed. Once the inspection was completed, the 4 Point Inspection Report was emailed to me at 8:03 p.m. Friday evening which provided all of the inspection details and multiple pictures of each of the 4 Points (28 total pics).
The cost of the inspection was very reasonable and was well worth it considering how quickly it was done. I rate Hope Home Inspections a "10" and 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

We hired Hope home inspections LLC on August 12th for a four-point inspection and termite inspection at a property on Olive Avenue. While Chris seemed thorough at first, he missed very important issues that are now costing us thousands.

The sliding door is not sealed properly and leaks water. Even worse, some areas of the flooring had water puddles underneath something you can notice without even stepping on them. This was discovered literally the day after we closed and got the keys. I don’t want them to say “it’s not part of the inspection”. Because me and my wife are not inspectors and in the first day we realized something was wrong.

Now we’re facing $10,000–$12,000 in repairs for new floors and wet walls. These are major problems that should never have been overlooked during an inspection.

Do yourself a favor and hire a better inspection company if you don’t want to spend $12,000 on your home in the first week.

I was very impressed with Hope Home home inspections. The report was incredibly detailed, covering everything from the roof to small interior issues, and included clear, high-quality photos with notes and markings that made everything easy to understand.

I have used Hope Home Inspections for three separate (pre dry wall, closing & final) inspections of my new home during the building process. They have been diligent, knowledgeable and professional, uncovering construction deficiencies that can be problematic in the future. I highly recommend them for all your inspection needs. The office staff is easy to contact and are very accommodating.
Additionally their findings report is very informative and includes pictures of any problems that were found.
Chris Armstrong was very thorough , he spent several hours conducting each aspect of the final warranty inspection. He also inspected my pool & filtration system!
Carole was a pleasure to deal with in scheduling the inspection and noted my areas of concerns for the final inspection.

William is one of the most knowledgeable professionals we have ever met on home construction and he took his time to explain all findings and answer all our questions. DO NOT WORK WITH HOPE HOME INSPECTIONS. We used hope home inspections on the recommendation of our real estate agent. we had 2 separate home inspections with hope homes. Hope home inspections was neglectful & unprofessional. They missed a CRITICAL structural issue in the crawl space of my home. The inspector completely neglected to inspect our crawl space. They have claimed that there is not access but as you can see in the photos added… Our foundation inspector was able to stick his phone into the crawl space & identify the issue. They noted nothing regarding the sinking foundation. They didn’t note that the doors had been shaved down so that they close. They missed cracks in the drywall. We called a foundation inspector after noticing these issues ourselves. (which revealed a 3” slope to our floors) we reached out to hope homes in order to reach a resolution. Vito, the manager of hope homes, came out to my home to access the situation. He admitted that his inspector (who they have since laid off) should have noted our crawl space in the inspection report. Their inspector didn’t so much as stick his phone into the crawl space to take a picture. We would not have purchased this home if we had known that there was a foundation issue. We trusted hope homes & now we have been left with COSTLY repairs just to make the home safe enough to live in. This is our first home & we put everything into this. They told us they would not leave us hanging & have since stopped responding to our emails & calls. UNPROFESSIONAL

Hope Home Inspections did a great job with my final walk through home inspection. This is the second time we used Hope Home Inspections (first time was a pre-drywall inspection) and the experience was just as great as the first time. They have great customer service setting up the appointment, and the inspector (Chris Armstrong - highly recommend!) did a very thorough job. Hope Home Inspections failed miserably to provide a thorough and accurate home inspection. Critical issues—including structural defects, plumbing failures, electrical hazards, pest infestations, roof problems, and drainage issues—were either overlooked, insufficiently investigated, or downplayed in their report. These were not minor oversights but major catastrophic failures that left me with a property riddled with safety risks and extensive, costly repairs.
When I notified them of these issues and offered an opportunity for resolution, their response demonstrated a complete lack of concern and accountability. Based on my experience, I strongly caution others against using their services.

Update: The response from Hope Home Inspections is not only dismissive and offensive but also riddled with inaccuracies, further underscoring the concerns I raised in my original review. Nearly every statement in their reply is false, and their approach to addressing a dissatisfied customer—including the implication that I cannot read or understand their report and need their assistance—demonstrates the troubling lack of accountability and professionalism I previously mentioned.
The issues I outlined in my review were not adequately investigated and/or documented in the inspection report. Where further evaluation was mentioned, it appears to be their blanket excuse to avoid conducting a thorough inspection. It is unacceptable for an inspection company to rely on vague disclaimers rather than providing the detailed assessments and actionable guidance that clients hire them to deliver.
Their response only amplifies the severity of their failures. Hope Home Inspections’ catastrophic disregard for critical issues has resulted in equally catastrophic consequences, leaving me with a property rife with safety hazards and costly repairs. If they value their reputation, they should focus on addressing their mistakes rather than deflecting blame.

Had a smooth, professional pre-listing home inspection with Chris Armstrong. Appreciated that Chris wore covers on his shoes when walking through the home. He was very thorough with his inspection of every room.

Carole was also lovely to speak with, and she made the scheduling process very easy. I appreciate how streamlined the entire end to end process was in terms of signing the agreement and conducting the payment online.

Chris showed up at our home promptly two minutes before we were scheduled (9am), and it took the expected amount of time. He was done by 12pm and then took time to walk us through the main things he discovered.

The price was $544 for the inspection which I do think was reasonable especially given the amount of time and attention to detail in the report. I would absolutely recommend this company for home inspections!
