My husband purchased an advertised bengal kitten there. The cost? $1,700. When he arrived home with her, I asked for her papers. None. Certificate number? Nope, Name of breeder? Nuh-uh. I called the store and no one knew anything. At all. I asked the 'clerk' when I could have her papers because at that price she comes with papers. She said they never get papers. The 'guy' gets them from the breeder and brings them to the store. What's his name? Oh I think it's Mike. What's his last name? I think it starts with an 'H'. Left my name and number and receipt number for a callback. Did I get one? No way. Called the next day. New girl. No idea what I was talking about. I repeated the story and the questions except her answers were simply "I don't know" over and over. Manager please? No manager there. Name of manager? I don't know. But she'll have her call me. I explained clearly to her that I need either papers, name of breeder who I can follow up with or refund. Again, no callback. They just keep dodging me. I will call again tomorrow and then will show up in person, with the kitten. With the price he paid we want proof she is purebred. If no proof then we expect a partial refund. Wish me luck.
