My only complaint is that the store isn't bigger. It would be nice if they could carry more dog products, but for dog food they're great Friendly staff that go out of their way to get to know their customers. It's so pleasant to go to a place where most of the staff know your name.
I also like hearing about promotions via Facebook or the newsletter.

I have a chow chow which I have been bringing there for years. She does an excellent job on grooming! It's very difficult to find a groomer who takes Chows - so I consider myself lucky to find one kwho knows exactly how to take care of my LULU.

We have been going to Yazoo since we got our Airdale Terrier Rosie. We really like this place; Sylvie is wonderful as well as everybody else there. They have always been so helpful and accommodating. Rosie is regularly groomed there and she always looks so pretty when we pick her up. It is very important for us to support small businesses, and we are very happy Yazoo customers!

... well, believe it or not, my sister drove several miles to come to this little store. She purchased something that was recommended by the staff, it turned out there was an error in size and she tried to return/exchange but she had nothing but heartache. The burden to find proof that it was the wrong size was put on her and she and I went out of our way to get the information. An obvious run around. When she finally arrived at the store she was accused by the owner that she was a manipulative liar with enough adjectives to make my sister burst into tears. Shocking! My sister is someone who wouldn't impose or do harm to anyone and they obviously took advantage of her kind and passive demeanour. I know of several people in our neck of the woods who refuse to support this store. There has been other incidents that have occurred and it would put her to shame. Her reputation will eventually catch up with her and you can therefore make the wise decision not to support a business that at times can be utterly unpredictable and vicious.
These words are not written lightly, beware.

I find it very hard to believe that this ever happened at Yazoo...I've been purchasing my pet supplies there for years, as have other friends, and nobody has ever come close to an experience like this one. I think that this is a fictional story to give the store a bad name and bad reputation. The staff and owner are nothing but helpful and on the one occasion where there was an error in with a purchase, the problem was solved easily and without malice. Those of us who are regulars know the truth.

We have been shopping for our pet food and supplies at Yazoo for 17 years. We wouldn't think of shopping anywhere else. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and community responsible.
The big box pet and pet supply stores cannot offer the one on one service that is available at Yazoo.
Highly recommend the store.

We have been shopping for our pet food and supplies at Yazoo for 17 years. We wouldn't think of shopping anywhere else. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and community responsible.
