Lots of good deals but also lots of expensive stuff. We found some discounted items but overall they don't have the kind of deals I was expecting. They can be found but you gotta spend some time digging around.

I went into the store with the item, size and color I wanted. The website which I had on my phone said they had the item in stock. I asked the sales person (he was nice) for the item. He checked his device and immediately said, "it is not in stock". I showed him my phone. He apologized and said it was wrong. The 2 hour drive was for nothing.

In is inexcusable in today's IT environments to have this kind of error. If you are going to put inventory online, make it correct. It is not that hard. If you want to tell me the item is in the store but it is misplaced, I would not be happy but I would understand. It is obvious that there are 2 databases and they are not in sync.

Dicks definitely saved our Christmas by helping us get the Yeti M20 Hopper Backpack. Amazing Cooler. High quality. Keeps the ice cold for more than a day,"WHEN PRE CHILLED", key word and is definitely spacious enough to hold 20 cans plus Ice or Ice packs. This wasn't something we wanted to order offline. We needed to see it in person to determine which size to actually pick. They had a Great selection of all the Yeti coolers and Backpacks In almost all the colors and sizes. We are so Happy we went here to purchase this cooler for our older son because they're not cheap and you want to get what size and color you actually want. I couldn't find more than one real VIDEO REVIEW on this cooler!!! My sons was able to fit 20 cans with 2 Giant thick ice packs in it with still a little room ontop with it being able to still close. Hope this helps someone. Because we couldn't find one review telling us specifically how much in "reality" it held for them. Visit to the store was quick and super easy. Grabbed an employee who brought us to the coolers and even though they didn't have the color we wanted on the floor, he went in back and brought us out a brand new one in the box.

I Went to the one in Paramus and I turned around and walked out. Don’t ask. It’s a waist of your time going there.

Lucky for me I bumped into a sales person that worked at the Rockaway location.

The staff is so helpful . She was so right about this location

Care Don’t Care And It Shows

I visited Going Going Gone and had a disappointing experience with an associate named Care. I arrived at the fitting room 8 minutes before closing, wanting to quickly try on one item out of the several I planned to purchase. Instead of assisting me, I was told the fitting room was already closed.

What made the situation worse is that while Care clearly didn’t care to help, I watched the checkout line remain open and moving all the way until 9:15 PM long after I dropped my items and walked out. If the store is still ringing up purchases past closing time, there’s no reason a simple, one-item fitting room request should be denied before closing.

Because of this interaction, I left behind everything I intended to buy. The lack of basic customer service was extremely disappointing, and I hope management addresses this so other customers don’t receive the same treatment.

I like it, but it's a shame they don't have a good assortment of running shoes of 40.5 EUR in size and that they don't have compression socks specifically for Running. I refer to the European size as it is more precise for shoes. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars

This is the second one of these stores that we have visited. I really don't seem to find anything I'm in need of, but maybe that's because it's a sports related store. But even some of the items that I picked up weren't any great deals.

One scale that I picked up sounded like a good deal I found online for almost the same price and had only two reviews for it making me question it's actual quality.

They had some unique Crocs both in sports-themed and movie themed ones which looked great.

They have a special deal where if you can find an item with an eight on the sign you get an additional 50% off. See my photo attached to my review.

If you're into sports then I would recommend checking the store out since maybe you have a better idea on good prices for sporting equipment.

The store is easy to walk so you're not squeezing through the aisles which is great for shopping and perusing.

Be careful when you shop here. You can get some great deals but you can also overpay by misinterpreting a sign that they post in a way almost to hope you misinterpret it. Then when you get to the register the prices don’t display as they scan the item (probably for the same obvious reason.) Just left the store paying over $600 for items. Had to wait in line for about a half hour because they only have 2 cashiers on the Sunday before Christmas and since the manager has no idea how to staff a business properly, obviously they were nowhere to be found to help the overwhelmed cashiers. In the end I overpaid by about $66 because of their strategically placed sign.

Great store. The deals are amazing. So many clothing options for all sizes - all name brand- all much cheaper than regular Dicks store prices. There’s almost TOO MUCH good stuff because it makes you want to get so much. Shoes, socks, sports bras, mens and women’s and children clothing, winter coats and accessories, bags, plus gear. The gear is never the same - you don’t know what you will find as it’s whatever they have excess of or is discontinued I suppose. This store does not disappoint !

Biggest Dicks sporting goods store i have seen. Lots and lots of choices and several brands from lower price to high end. There's a climbing wall in the middle of the store with staff helping kids climb. Big fishing section and all kids sports have sections. Smaller hunting cloths section.

Lots of great deals to be had here! There aren't many places where you can get brand new Nike, Adidas, North Face, Patagonia and more for like $10 or less on certain items. End of season is really good to stock up. Sometimes they run a buy one get one 50% on jackets and hoodies when they're already marked down really cheap. Always a ton of rotating stock here and you never know what you're gonna find. The one section I find really hit or miss is the sneakers, usually not as frequent to see new stuff there. Sign up for their rewards too, free money is free money!

I'd rate this place higher if they didn't have their music blaring over the speakers, it's kind of annoying when I'm trying to shop. They could use more variety here other than clothes and shoes, I wish there were more deals on outdoor and sports equipment.

Bought Christmas gifts for family, put gifts in car then went back in to get a few more things because I forgot some people I was shopping for, when I came back in the whole atmosphere changed security guard and workers breathing down my neck as if I stole something, they were following me around the store very obvious to notice, if they felt a certain way they could have asked for a receipt the first time I left to avoid making there customers feel a certain way, totally unacceptable. I need to go here more. They are brilliant for their location next to planet fitness. They have amazing deals and a wide selection of everything. I highly suggest going when you are able to. It was beyond exciting to find amazing deals.
