This was my first time ordering with Old City flowers . I called for same day delivery, gave my budget and stated I would like an arrangement to be sent to my daughter who just lost her dog. Her favorite flowers are pink peonies. All I asked was for a few to be included. Florist stated” we’ll make it special for her”. And they sure did! The arrangement was absolutely beautiful!! I will definitely be a returning customer!

WASTE OF MONEY BE AWARE!!

Saw this velvet bouquet where the description says "all-red bouquet" perfect it's valentine's day i ordered a week ahead they said they do same day delivery - im ecstatic.

2/14 valentine's day today:
most florists send you a tracking it's 11am I get nothing and im nervous so i called them. first girl hangs up on me mid talking - okay? called again and a new guy tells me its been loaded onto the truck and on the way.

it's 3pm, i'm like this place is closed and i called 5 times and no one picked up. no nothing. finally the delivery guy comes and drops off the flowers. bro what is this? this loooks like i went out to the bushes picked out a handful of bushels and some wilted petals already falling off roses to SPECKLE an all-GREEN bouquet.

so not only did i not get what i paid a $146 for, i got terrible customer service, late delivery services, AND they printed the note i wrote and STAPLED it onto the receipt so when you rip the receipt off the entire note ripped.

this flower shop has to honestly be a money laundering place because ain't no way you're going to advertise a bouquet of only red roses and what looks like some red carnation and pass off some weeds, bushes, and some trader joe's quality red roses.

bottom line don't waste your money here go to NE flower shop- they send you tracking and came in the same morning OH and the pictures looked like the bouquets i received lol.

Disappointed with quality of flowers and service. I wanted delivery at 10 AM, but Eric called on the day of the delivery and said that they can't commit to deliver at 10 AM, but will deliver between 12 to 3 PM. Actual delivery was done close to 6 PM. Apparently the driver was busy with lots of deliveries. The flowers delivered were no were close to what is shown in the website. What a rip off. Totally disappointed. Won't use their service ever again.

I have never sent flowers to anybody in an office before. Because of this, I was a bit worried going into the experience that the flowers wouldn’t make it to my lovely girlfriend’s desk. Old City Flowers did not disappoint. The delivery was made within three hours which I found to be very satisfactory. The bouquet was also even more beautiful than it appeared in the pictures online. I am very happy with the service, but more importantly I made my girlfriend’s whole day. I highly recommend this florist!

I placed a same day delivery for a gorgeous boutique of flowers and received word that there might be a delay in delivery and that they would do the best they can. Although I was bummed, I later found out they were able to make the intended delivery and I was really happy they were able to accommodate my last minute request. Will definitely consider ordering from them again. The recipient was in awe of their flowers.

1. Delivery was delayed, “due to the eagles parade”. I’m not sure why the option for a Friday delivery date would be offered if the parade was anticipated to cause issues. Then the flowers weren’t delivered until close to 1pm after being told a 9am-11am window. I postponed my morning waiting for them.

2. I paid over $150 for the “Truly Stunning Bouquet Large” and it ended up being about 10 red roses and 7 lilies, the rest was filler. Also, half of the filler including most of the pink roses were already drooping/dead. Not sure where the $119.99 value comes from. Looks like the prices were inflated to take advantage of Valentine’s Day which I understand, but at least add some value.

3. When I got the card and inscription my girlfriend pointed out that the flowers came from Philly Flowers and Edibles on Whitaker Ave. I’m not sure how placing an order with Old City Flowers leads to it being fulfilled with no heads up by Philly Flowers.

Sent flowers for valentines, arrived very noticeably wilted. I get flowers aren't always perfect, and a few wilted flowers is what it is, but this is more than I feel is reasonable. Its not a lower review because what isn't wilted is actually very nice with a lot of variety and is the style my wife really likes. Would recommend picking them up so you can see them before leaving the store. Bummer, the website made it look so well done.

My $150 "Wow Factor" Bouquet (Spoiler: It Wasn't)

I was extremely disappointed with the "Wow Factor" Watermelon Bouquet I ordered from Old City Flowers for $150. The size and quality were shockingly underwhelming, especially considering the price and the "Wow Factor" label.

Upon receiving the bouquet from the pleasant staff member, I was so surprised by its small size that I had to double-check to ensure I had the correct order. The actual product barely resembled the online photos, which are frankly misleading. The bouquet I received was closer to the advertised "Standard" size in terms of stem count, but the stems were so short that it actually looked even less substantial.

Essentially, for $150, the bouquet was far from the impressive display advertised and was a significant letdown.

I called to confirm if I would receive email confirmation of order delivery. I was advised there is no order delivery sent - just when the order is placed. I asked then at 230pm today if my order that was placed 48 hours ago at 1059am was out for delivery today. I was placed on hold for ten minutes as they could not find the order. When returning to the phone, I was advised that the order would be delivered between 3pm-4pm today. I said I am concerned about you never receiving the order after taking ten mins to find the order. I was advised the order is sitting right there. I asked if I could be called when delivered. I was told that the manager would be notified of my request.

The manager called back two minutes later very rude and aggressive stating the order was out on the truck for delivery now. I advised that is different then I was just told by the associate and concerned because I was just placed on hold for ten minutes and feel like the order would not have been fulfilled if I did not call today.

The manager said she just received the order this morning despite me placing the order 48 hours ago. I said can you please provide your email address so I can provide my order confirmation receipt from 48 hours. The manager said it does not matter the order is on the truck now and we stage deliveries by zip code where some arrive late before 5pm. I said you are missing my complaint and will address via Google. The manager said do you want me to go ahead and refund your order.

I ordered flowers 48 hours in advance due to a family passing. I called to check status since they do not provide email confirmation of delivery. The order seemed lost. The manger said the order was just received this morning despite being placed 48 hours ago. The manager was rude not addressing the issue and thought a refund would silence my google review and to not have to address the service experience. I seriously doubt my emotional friend will ever receive the flowers ordered after their loss and will never patronage this business again due to horrible service experience.

I have used them for years. As a business owner, I send a lot of flowers to clients. I feel like most florists reduce their product once they feel you’re going to come to them either way. Highly recommend. I tried them on a whim for a new baby arrangement and have ended up using them for a number of occasions. Their ordering is easy and online. Their customer service is excellent especially with a tricky delivery / window of availability. Flowers were fresh and suited every occasion even though I just said designers choice. I called Old City Flowers earlier this week to have flowers delivered to a friend the next day. I told them what I wanted to spend, and asked that they just do something pretty with lots of fall color. On delivery day, I sent my friend birthday wishes by text, and she let me know that she was on her way to the Cape May for a last minute overnight. I called Old City Flowers right away and they were very kind, and very accommodating, helping me to switch the delivery date for the flowers. They were just delivered and I received this photo from my friend. The flowers are GORGEOUS! I’m thrilled with Old City Flowers quality and customer service. I’ll definitely order from them again!!
