I had a very frustrating experience with Boomer McLeod and feel obligated to share it so others can be aware.

I brought my 2018 Tahoe in for what should have been a straightforward audio-related job—upgrading and properly routing power and ground wiring for my system. Instead, this turned into a much bigger issue. After picking up my vehicle, I immediately started experiencing electrical problems that were never present before. My voltage was dropping dangerously low, my stereo system began cutting out, my amp failed, and even unrelated components like my fog lights started acting inconsistently.

When I brought the vehicle back, instead of taking accountability, I was told my amp was bad and ended up purchasing a replacement through them. I was also advised that my alternator might be the issue—despite my Tahoe only having around 66k miles—so I spent additional money replacing that as well. None of this resolved the core problem.

To make matters worse, when I scanned my vehicle myself, I found multiple BCM (Body Control Module) faults that appeared after they worked on it—something I never had prior.

I’ve made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with them, including reaching out again today after being told the owner would speak with me. Instead, I was told he was unavailable and “getting on a plane,” which felt like just another excuse and more runaround.

At this point, I’m left with a vehicle that has ongoing electrical issues, money spent on parts I likely didn’t need, and no accountability from the shop that caused the problem in the first place.

I strongly recommend anyone considering this shop proceed with caution. What started as a simple install turned into a costly and stressful situation with no resolution.

I had Boomer McLOUD recently install a remote starter/security system in my 2015 Infiniti Q50. I had recently bought this car and heard not too long afterwards that these cars are really sought after and tend to get stolen ALOT. The salesperson from the Central Ave location walked me through what they install for the remote starter/security system. I was able to set up an appointment to get a compustar system added into my car. The guys were timely, really respectful & explained the key fob control really well. Super happy with my new purchase/investment!

Boomer McLoud installed a remote starter in my wife’s car about 6 months ago and it works great! The shop was great with communication and timely with the install. We’ve had one issue come up where the A/C wasn’t blowing cold, and since the car was still under warranty we had the dealer check it out only to be told a wire was damaged during the remote starter installation and wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Whether the issue was caused by that or the dealer was passing the blame, I don’t know, but Boomer McLoud was amazing about taking care of us and our situation and helped us fix the issue with no costs. They were nothing but professional through and through, and I would highly recommend them for a remote starter!

I had an excellent experience with a car speaker upgrade on a Hyundai Elantra. The upgrade was to improve the front crappy factory speakers. The price was very fair. I had a couple issues with a vibration and knocking sound on the driver door side after the upgrade. They were completely fine about me bringing it back for fine-tuning and tweaking. Actually two tweakings were required. I felt like a pest seeking perfection, but they were 100% fine making the adjustment with no complaint, attitude or difficulty. Now I have a great car speaker upgrade at a very fair price with great customer service! Very happy with my experience.

I bought an Apple CarPlay system for my 2013 Lexus RX350. The installation looked too extensive for me to do correctly. Boomer McLoud was recommended to me by my mechanic to install the system.
