Loved Harry and Heels California Donuts! The giant cinnamon bun was unreal, warm, soft, and perfectly sweet. The donuts were just as amazing, super fresh and full of flavour. Definitely worth the stop.

Went here last week for the first time, got an apple fritter and it was the best thing I have ever had, so warm and comforting. Then my man Amaan gave me a free sit cream and another free apple fritter. Best donut in Toronto. Then I returned today and got the tiramisu with even more of the best service.

9.2/10 for fritter filled with apple, 7.5/10 for sour cream, though it was a very unique donut fritter had a lot of filling which was appreciated though. 8.3/10 for tiramisu, cream was nice but the dough is what really makes these donuts shine. Will return and update
Upon leaving late to union station went by to get a strawberry filled doughnut, and especially on the bus back home it was an ethereal experience just like the apple fritter, since it gives you all there freshly made do with a nice subtle glaze, 9/10 for sure.
Coconut cream gets a 8.5/10 very doughy and nice glaze, a little too heavy of a cream for me
Chocolate skor: 8.8/10: very good and doughy, icing tastes good too

i want to try ALL their donuts.

this apple fritter was one of the most MINDBLOWING pastries i’ve ever had, and IVE HAD MY FAIR SHARE. the exterior had a sugary glazed crust, but the INTERIOR WAS SO FREAKING PILLOWY, SOFT, AND FLUFFYYYYYY I WANTED TO LIVE IN IT. as well as the texture, the flavours were also spot on: a light, not-too-deep or overly strong cinnamon flavour, with a subtle sweetness from the apple chunks. the mildness of the flavours made the fritter taste so light , and it wasn’t too sweet or greasy at all.

the maple bacon donut was also OUTSTANDING. usually i prefer cake over yeast donuts because i find that yeast donuts are too chewy , but harry and heels have seriously perfected the art of fluffy and soft donuts. like the RISE of the dough was unreal. the maple frosting was a bit melty and quite sweet, but it was balanced really well by the saltiness of the bacon.

Absolutely phenomenal donuts! Some of, if not, THEE best donuts I have had across the globe! The maple bacon one is one you wouldn't find in the UK, but it was outstanding! Same with the maple dipped! Didnt realise it was inside another venue though, as there was no indication outside that there was a donut shop, at least not that I could see. Anyway, top donuts, full review on my site at The Taste Trekker.

Best donuts in town! Harry and Heels California Donuts never disappoints. Everything tastes fresh, perfectly made, and full of flavour. The shop has a great vibe and the team is genuinely kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I feel like family when I show up to get my fix. Easily one of my favourite donut places in Toronto!

Such a nice and cool place.
I wanted to have just a classic old fashioned donut so I ordered chocolate one. Dice there were so many kinds of donuts I asked a gorgeous woman about her favorite and popular ones, she recommended me a tiramisu donut and apple flitter ofc so I got it.
The donuts were absolutely amazing they were fluffy, moist and huge. My fav is old fashioned donut this is perfect.

Checked out this place with a couple friends and got to try a few different donuts. End of the day, only had a select typed to try and they did not disappoint! Airy, balanced flavour, and didn’t feel heavy at all - could’ve had two! Even ordered half a dozen on the way out. If you’re in the area, check them out!

Since I was travelling solo they said they’d make me a smaller pizza to what they usually sell. Decent menu. Went to plain margarita which was really nice. Doughnuts looked incredible but I didn’t try!

We went 2 days in and row for the doughnuts; the staff were extremely nice and the food was amazing :)
(Powder strawberry filled, buttermilk bar, classic glaze and sour cream glaze were delicious 10/10 would recommend)

You probably wouldn’t believe how many donut shops I’ve tried around the world — and I can honestly say Harry & Heels is a must. Their dough is incredibly tasty and surprisingly light compared to so many others.
I'm from the Ottawa/Gatineau area and usually grab them at Farm Boy on Rideau, but I had to try the real deal in Toronto. The counter was fully stocked at 5 PM and everything was fresh. Amazing variety, amazing quality. I’ll definitely be back. PS. the Applefritter is an absolute must try !

Amazing donuts. Soft and fluffy. The sour cream donut wasn't overly dense like others I've had, with a great flavor and slight tang. The apple fritter had just a little crisp on the edges - and it was huge. Both were perfectly glazed, not overly coated and not sickly sweet. Harry has definitely earned the reputation for one of the best donut shops in the city.

I only entered to look for an ATM, but the sweet and mouthwatering smell of this place made me stay and look around. Then, I look at the counter and all these wonderfully made donuts are in the acreen, and then I'm met with two beautiful smiles and warm and friendly greetings from someone making a pizza and another lady cashing someone out. I believe her name is Lydia. I asked how good the donuts were and the level of enthusiasm she had about all the donuts I ended up being convinced I had to buy. I ended up leaving to find an ATM and returning just to buy half a dozen donuts! Definitely not disappointed ! Shout outs to Lydia.. everything from the space, to the food to the warm greetings will have me and my family return for sure!

Amazing donuts. I placed a custom order and had so many questions prior to it and the lady (I didn’t get to ask her name) was so helpful. The donuts were absolutely delicious and made for a really tasty donut cake

Donuts are unreal!! Enjoyed these so much my son even requested them for his birthday “cake”. Very fluffy and light. And surprisingly not as sweet as they look. Worth every penny. Hopefully the franchise grows bigger and open in Mississauga. Driving downtown for them is the only negative about this place. But any and everyone needs to try this and have their donut experience change forever

Donuts don’t get much better than this!

Tried their sour cream donut with chocolate icing and it was incredibly delicious…not to dry or cakey and you could really taste the sour cream (assuming that’s what they use to make it so flavourful)!

Will definitely be back to try more donuts! Bravo!!!

The coconut cream filled donut here was amazing! Loved the filling. But the cinnamon sugar donut felt too plain with cinnamon sprinkled on top. Unfortunately they were out of the famous apple fritter donut, but I'll come back for it again!

I’ve seen this place listed as one of the top doughnut spots in the city so gave it a shot. I got the marshmallow filled Boston cream doughnut and apple fritter. Came to $12.06 (15% tip included)The Boston cream was fresh and fluffy. I was hesitant to get a marshmallow filling, but it worked very well. It wasn’t overwhelmingly sweet, but just right. The apple fritter was off the hook. One of the best apple fritters I’ve ever had. Fresh fluffy and made with love. Not the cheapest, but high quality and pretty big, so I’m not mad. The service was great. Had the pleasure of chatting with the owner who was such a wonderful person, full of positive energy and charisma. I don’t think I’ve ever felt more welcome. The hype is real, this is a place I will be visiting on the regular.

Amazing doughnuts! Will be back 100% for the apple fritters though…they were UNBELIEVABLY delicious! These doughnuts have a different texture than other places. If you haven’t tried, you should! Also, Sim was so nice to deal with over the phone, AND in person. Thanks!

Got the Boston cream with marshmallow filling yesterday & it was the best I’ve ever had! Lots of filling & fresh! Also had the apple fritter & it looked average but it was incredible also! Crispy on the outside doughy on the inside! Nice cinnamon taste & good amount of apples I would highly recommend both! The lady working was very nice & the place looked great! Kind of good it’s far away from me otherwise I’d be there every week! I’ll be back soon tho 😁😁😁

The donuts are actually amazing. The fact that you go for pizza and get surprise donuts is awesome in itself, but the donuts are light and full of flavour. The topings taste fresh, and the dough is so fluffy it is easy to eat 6 in one sitting.

Everything we Tried at Harry & Heels California Donuts

Located in the Dundas West neighborhood and operating within the Fourth Man in the Fire Pizzeria - Indulge in some of the softest and most delectable donuts and fritters known to your taste buds.

What sets these donuts apart is their exceptional dough. With simple flavors, toppings, and fillings, the spotlight remains on the dough's unique quality. Prioritizing texture and flavor, each bite highlights the dedication to a light and flavorful experience - no dense donuts in sight.

These yeast-based donuts are generous in size, making them an ideal choice for sharing, if you're inclined to part with such deliciousness.

The lady at the counter is very disinterested, borderline rude. Behavior was the same both times I came. Donuts are not labeled. Asking her the flavor seemed to bother her. No other customers waiting behind me.

That said, the donuts are quite good. The dough is soft, light and have a nice chew.
