Very poor customer service. Something as simple as an address change can not be done even with proof of membership and ID. Busy store, long lines. No service. It's not worth it.

I had the most amazing recent experience I had at Costco on Regent Ave that took place a week ago on a Saturday.I've enjoyed my shopping at various Costco's throughout Winnipeg over the years. However, I have never been so satisfied until a recent experience I had at the Regent Ave location last Saturday. Usually, I shop at the McGullivery location, and the one closest to where we live in St. James. However, my family and I decided to do some shopping at Regent Ave , last Saturday. I arrived at the store in not a great mood at the time, but I got to give a positive recognition to someone who I was so impressed of how positive and how he interacts with people. He greeted my family and I, and I could tell he is someone who must love what he does because he smiled and asked me how my day was and also has great customer service skills. I asked this gentleman " If there was a certain salad in stock, he paged someone from the Deli department and told me exactly where it was". He even went above and beyond when he switched sides of the doors and signed my reciepts giving my kids both a smiley face which made both my kids and also my own. That individual's name was Derek.

Have always been happy with anything I`ve purchased from the Regent location. Customer service is excellent. Store is always clean compared to the other ones in Wpg. As to the other reviews, are they always happy with everything they buy elsewhere. I have bought things at other stores and returned them as well as you can buy better products at Costco for less money.

Last Thursday evening I bought 2 bouquets of roses for gifts; 1 bunch of red roses and the other white roses. I was terribly embarrassed to be told that during the conditioning (giving them a fresh cut) the petals started to fall off and by Sunday, they were drooping and basically done. I have always had good luck with flowers from Costco, but not this time. I should change the 1 star review to 0

I purchased a laptop omputer in August, after about 6 weeks it started showing me a notice that storage capacity low and needs new battery. I was hardly on this thing! I had a death in the immediate family plus I moved. I took it back to store and was told as it was over the 4 months I would have to go through Costco Concierge. I did that and they in turn put me over to HP in India. I was on phone with them for upwards of three hours. They said external battery was not working. They promised to send new battery by Dec. 13th as I was leaving on Jan. 3 for 5 weeks in USA which is why I bought the laptop initially. I am still waiting and the concierge tells me that they can't get it to me before \i leave. Here I sit...with no recourse...don,t believe everything you hear about Costco.

To be fair to Cosco, this was probably the first Cosco store I ever stepped into and was just overwhelmed with the selection. It's a great store to go to if you are interested in shopping in bulk and are willing to pay for the membership.
