This is my third purchase from CarMax and my second from the Tinley Park location. Each purchase the customer service was excellent, especially with my last purchase where I found a car in another state and they shipped it to Illinois so I could test drive with no obligation to buy it. The process was seamless and took only a day. My sales agent Janae Holcomb (hope I spelled it right) was AWESOME. When I decided it was the car I wanted it was a delay in getting the title cleared but she continued to communicate and even when it took longer she offered to find me another vehicle similar from another location that I could get. But at the end of the day - I got the car that I wanted and the purchase process was seamless and quick and I would definitely come back again.

I needed to find a used car, and, during my search I had several terrible experiences with dealer showrooms. My nephew raved about the ease of buying through Car Max, so I diligently began the hunt for what I was looking for. I found a car at the Tinley Park location where I was greeted by Tyler M. He couldn’t have been more helpful. He answered all of my questions, and the process was smooth and straightforward. The facility was spotless, and every employee in the place greeted me with a “hello”. I highly recommend this Car Max when you go to purchase your next car.

Great service did not have the car we wanted but we were able to get it shipped for free! Tom kept us informed through the whole process and helped us with getting all the paperwork pre ready so we did not have to be there all day. We were able to test drive it before buying and it had everything we wanted and more. The car is almost new and drives and looks great definitely recommend going to Carmax in Tinley and ask for Tom!

I drove to CarMax with the same skepticism I’d approach any used care dealership. But the car they advertised, the low mileage and fair trade-in estimate was too good to pass up. The building was gorgeous, spacious and tasteful. That was the first surprise. Then I test drove the car and it was just as advertised. I got the trade-in estimate and the car with no haggling. The previous day I had walked out of a dealership because they wanted $1500 more than the price they promised. I highly recommend CarMax and my salesperson Ash. No pressure, no manager hovering over, just an excellent experience.

Had a good experience with my Carmax location. bought a car from Naperville location had it shipped to Tinley Park location once the car got there. They did an inspection and found it had an exhaust leak. They fixed it for free. They called me and told me my car is ready for pick up. told them i was on
my way. This is my first time even driving the vehicle. And this is how they gave me my car covered in snow while the other customer cars is inside looking pretty and shiny. It didn’t even feel like I was getting a new car to me.. an update they fixed everything wrong with my car. I told them my headlights was messed up. Long story short, they called me and told me only one of them will be getting replaced and I told them I have projectors on my car. It’s going to shine brighter than the. Old one she really didn’t care I go to pick my car and what do you know the new headlight is brighter I’m never going to that CarMax location again!!!!!!!
