Years ago we used this drug store when it was owned by the aikenhead family and it was fantastic. We recently moved back to Renfrew, so we went back to aikenheads, but now that it's owed by Dr Kemp it's terrible, due to a misunderstanding we are being flagged as bad people because of this drugstore and a miscommunication of my doctor. We didn't know we had to tell our doctor we were changing drug stores, this is a new thing, we were told by our former drug store all we needed was new written prescriptions and bring them to the new drug store, which is what we did. Now aikenheads will no longer deal with us, and it's really their fault this all happened in the first place because they phoned our doctor saying we were trying to get prescriptions filled early, which we were not, we were told it was to early, which I did not know at the time because it was my husbands prescriptions, I just brought them in, when the druggist said it was to early, I said ok that's fine he must have some left then. But today when my husband called in to have them filled he was told we were flagged and had to talk to our doctor, that we had to have them filled at our previous drug store, they would not give us the written prescriptions back either. It's all a big mix up so never again will I deal with aikenheads drugstore they have terrible service and a terrible pharmacist!
