A special shoutout to Tyrell — he was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, kind, welcoming, and genuinely made our experience so much better. His attitude and the way he treated us really stood out.

Had a great time at The Canadian Brewhouse in Kitchener-Waterloo! The patio is definitely one of the highlights — it’s large, beautiful, spacious, and a perfect place to enjoy some sunshine and a few cold drinks.

The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, and overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The only downside was that the service was quite slow, although the staff were friendly and welcoming.

If you’re looking for a great patio with a fun atmosphere where you can sit back, enjoy the sun, and have some drinks, this is definitely a great spot. We’ll be back!

I had wrote a fairly negative review after visiting Canadian Brewhouse on its opening week, which provided us, unfortunately, quite a negative first impression and experience on both the food and service. Much to my surprise I received a response from the restaurant nearly a year later, apologizing for the experience and offered to talk more about it.

The response alone gave me hope things had perhaps changed, as it being a local restaurant with a good location, it did have much potential. I contacted them and they were very quick to remedy the situation and to welcome me back to give them another shot. I very excitingly accepted.

The patio was not opened yet during the restaurant’s opening week, so we were very delighted to sit on the patio as, having driven by it 10,000 times since, it always looked like a good spot to have a meal. We were very warmly welcomed to the fairly well-appointed patio, complete with turf, sofas for relaxing, TV’s, as well as an indoor area. The tables all had umbrellas which was very appreciated and helped make it comfortable from the sun.

Frankly we were apprehensive on what the food quality would be like judging from our past experience, and we were very glad to see that things had very much improved. The nachos appetizer was decently garnished alongside tasty chips, the buffalo chicken burger tasted fresh and was topped nicely, and the fish and chips were narrowingly spot-on, just needing a touch of salt. The fries were quite tasty as well and nicely cooked.

I am very glad we gave it another shot as we will definitely be returning, half because of the food, but half because of the great service we received throughout from both the waitress and the lady who contacted me to invite us back. I certainly was not expecting them to reach out at this point, after it having been a year, and they certainly didn’t have to, but it certainly meant a lot that they did.

Patio is highly recommended!

For dinner last night, my family went to The Canadian Brewhouse in Kitchener! It was our first-time going there. We had a very friendly waitress who took our orders (She even had a nice cowgirl hat on), I ordered their Strawberry Dirty Soda mocktail, Donair Pizza which was outstanding, and some garlic fingers which were tasty! To finish off the meal, we ordered the Dessert Poutine which was a great finish to the meal!! I really did enjoy The Canadian Brewhouse, especially the forks that had hockey sticks on them. Hope to be back again at The Canadian Brewhouse in my hometown of Kitchener again someday!! Thanks Canadian Brewhouse in Kitchener for your hospitality!!!! 🤠🇨🇦❤️👍🏻

I’ve been here 3 times and Love the patio vibes.

The bar area is great for people who love to watch sports.

They’re also giving away free beer glasses for FIFA and I think that is pretty cool (applies on purchase of Michelob beer only)

The regular size nachos were around $27 and I think that’s a bit insane for nachos (no matter how big the bowl, cos the prep/costing is known to be very cheap)

The servers are fun and engaging. Our sever Kim was great and also suggested us to download the app to get free cheesy garlic bread and to collect points on each visit.

The beer options are great and the happy hour pricing is pretty good.

I like the customized napkins and wet wipes, and glasses (it shows the business cares about their marketing and I appreciate that)

(((The 2nd time I was there: we were being thrown around from table to table and we ended up leaving because the bar was busy and they were unable to seat us.)) I still came back with 5 other friends because I like the place overall.
