I chose health care because of what I experienced as a child. I was diagnosed with an eye condition which required me to see multiple physicians and have multiple surgeries performed. I was diagnosed with an eye condition which required me to see multiple physicians and have multiple surgeries performed. I grew close to those doctors. They significantly impacted my quality of life. Medicine was a natural choice for me. I knew I wanted to have a similar impact and build similar relationships. I chose family medicine because I like doing a little bit of everything. I get bored if I do the same thing over and over again. Family medicine provides variety, and I take pride in being able to care for patients from little babies to seniors. My favorite part of the job is the relationships that I get to build with people. When patients choose a PCP, they're picking someone to be in their corner and who's going to be with them on their best and worst days.
