After high school, Dr. Thomas spent two years in Europe, gaining valuable life experiences and broadening his cultural horizons. Upon returning, he pursued higher education in the United States, where he completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. There, he majored in Neuroscience and minored in French, showcasing his diverse academic interests and dedication to learning. Dr. Thomas continued his education at the prestigious University of North Carolina, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, a Master of Public Health degree, and a Specialty Certificate in Periodontics. His extensive training also included certifications in Intravenous Sedation and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ensuring his ability to provide safe and effective care to his patients. As a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Dr. Thomas is recognized for his advanced expertise and commitment to the highest standards of dental practice. He is also an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Periodontology and the Canadian Association of Periodontology.
