If you are looking for an HVAC company that cares and puts in the time to truly understands your issue and requests, Allen Norris HVAC is your company! Allen and his team will take the time to review, evaluate and educate. I was in the need of replacing our entire system, furnace and A/C. After several conversations and 2 visits we were comfortable moving in a direction to switch to an inverter heat pump system and eliminate natural gas. Allen and Mr. Coffee took the time to explain the efficiency I would gain both summer and winter. I’m 100% confident in the direction they guided me.
I can say enough about the techs on demo and install day! These guys know what they are doing and very professional. If you are looking for a contractor you can trust, Allen Norris HVAC is your company!
EDIT: I would like to provide an update as we are 7 months in use of the new unit. The Gree unite is performing way beyond our expectations! With the cold weather we had this past winter, our house was holding 72* with absolutely no issues even with the single digit temps we had for several days! I even ran a little test and bumped it up to 75* - worked like a champ! No during that month of cold weather our electric bill from Jackson EMC was $220.29! All my neighbors around me we receiving natural gas bills from Buford in the range of $350 to $450 and they were struggling to keep their indoor temps at 68*. This unit is extremally efficient and not to mention super quiet! The outside condenser is VERY queit, we had thoughts of relocating it to the side of the house from under the deck and patio. Mr. Allen said there was no need for all the work and expense. He was 100% correct.
If you are on the fence and thinking about an upgrade to a more efficient unit - Allen Norris is your company and the Gree Invertor heat pump system is something I would highly consider and recommend. The monthly savings on your energy cost is also a huge plus - on average I'm saving $100/$120.

It is not very often I get to use all caps for a review but HONESTY, RESPONSIVENESS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, FAIR- and I could go on. My call was on one of the coldest days and had been out of town- HVAC failed and came home to frozen house. Allen was a referral from a neighbor and responded quickly as it was emergency situation. Was willing to stay as late as needed to make sure we had heat! DONE! Do not hesitate to call Allen- he is the best!

Sunday morning my HVAC unit completely iced over. House is only 7 years old. I have a HVAC company I use for my seasonal service, but they do not have a 24 Hr. emergency repair service.

My decision to go with Allen Norris HVAC came down to several factors. Years in the business over 20, 5-star rating and all the positive reviews.

Mr. Norris responded promptly. Came out accessed the situation. Explained to me about my system and what the possible causes could be. After the diagnostic was completed. Allen informed me that nothing is wrong with my system, except that a wire was disconnected from the sensor board. And only will be charged a diagnostic fee.

I highly recommend calling Allen Norris HVAC. You will not be disappointed. Total professionalism from the initial phone call to the onsite service. Very Knowledgeable, integrity beyond reproach.

After this experience I now will use Allen Norris HVAC for my season tune up service. And any for any other issues that might occur.

I highly recommend the services of Allen Norris. I needed to have some duct work done on short notice, Allen came out quickly and was able to look at the job, quote it and do the repairs all within a few days. It was a small job, but Allen made it a priority like he would for any big job. I will be using Allen's company for all my HVAC and AC needs in the future as he was very knowledgeable and reasonably priced for his services.

Have appreciated Allen's above and beyond service on numerous occasions (including holidays!), when he's been able to get our system up and running when others would have sold us a new unit. Our unit suddenly stopped cooling this week. Allen’s team was here the next morning and quickly diagnosed the issue. We were told a part needed to be replaced, and one of his team members even drove all the way to Norcross (we live in Dawsonville) to pick it up the same day so the repair could be done that afternoon. When I got home from work at 5 p.m., Allen and his team were already working to replace the part. Later that evening, Allen even came back to make sure everything was running properly.
We are so appreciative that he and his team not only worked quickly, but also went above and beyond to make sure our AC was back up and running tonight. Thank you all so much!

SAVED ME OVER $1400.00!
Mr. Norris was an answer to prayer. Before discovering Mr. Norris, I was about to pay over $1700.00 for another man to fix my A/C unit.

The first guy had actually destroyed parts in my air handler. As he poked around, sparks and smoke were flying. He told me the parts I needed were not covered under warranty. Then he would not provide a price for the parts needed. When I questioned him he asked me why I did not trust him! Red flags went up.

I asked a neighbor for a good A/C man. He gave me Mr. Norris’ information, and it was the best call I ever made. Mr. Norris is honest and sincerely wants to help. He takes time to explain everything he is doing while evaluating the problem and performing the repair.

The $60.00 parts the first guy destroyed would not have repaired my A/C. It would only have repaired the damage he had done. I would have been in for additional time and expense with him.

Mr. Norris retraced the damage the first guy created, back to the original problem being the thermostat. He replaced the destroyed parts which WERE under warranty at no cost to me.

Once back to where the problem began, Mr. Norris replaced my thermostat and the destroyed parts. My A/C was up and running in no time. I saved over $1400.00 with Allen Norris HVAC!

I will never use another HVAC company. Mr. Norris is experienced, enjoys his work and helping people. I am completely satisfied and very grateful to have found Allen Norris HVAC. I highly recommend him and have already given his contact information to friends and family.

Allen arrived right on time, was very knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what needed to be done. They performed a thorough inspection, cleaned everything, and made a few adjustments that have noticeably improved the efficiency of my system. I’ve used Allen for many years to service all of my HVAC throughout the house. He has consistently been one of the most honest, reliable and fair priced providers I’ve worked with. There have been times when I thought I might need something replaced and he has advised differently and not just there to make a sale. We’ve had airflow issues and he’s resolved with creative solutions at a cost much lower than I expected. He knows how to treat people well and trains his team to do the same. I can’t say enough to recommend him as the best HVAC provider in this area.

We replaced all three of our ancient AC units with Allen two years ago. He provided fast, friendly, and highly competent service installing three new modern efficient units. Where our old AC units couldn’t keep up on the hottest days we are now super cool all summer long. In addition we expected to see savings with the new efficient units and we were not disappointed. Our electric bills are down over $100 per month during AC season! Allen is also highly dedicated to providing excellent service after the sale. He was just out this week to make sure the new units are operating at peak efficiency, and that we are 100% satisfied. Allen Norris is the best! Our furnace went out overnight and we woke up to a 60° house and it was 35° outside. Allen was at our house within a couple hours and taught my husband how to figure out what was wrong and how to fix it himself if it happened again. (Build up of air particulates in a small tube leading to a sensor). 10/10 experience and very fair cost. Thanks Allen.
