Went in for milk, but it expired that day. Also, noticed many of their prices are significantly higher than the box stores. I thought Family Dollar was supposed to be a discount store. Their merchandise is quality that you would expect from a dollar store, but their prices are not.

They had the smaller things of fabric softener marked at a higher price than the larger ones. Same brand. They also had security tags on all of their fabric softeners. It's not like someone can put one of those in their purse (their huge). If someone wanted to run out the door with one, what is the security tag going to do? It doesn't affect whether they can open and pour the softener because it's on the handle. Just added a couple of extra minutes for the employee to remove it. I can only imagine how much it could hold up a line when the only employee has to remove several of those things. Considering they are on almost every item in the store.

It's also very inconvenient when a customer has several bags of groceries and can't take the shopping cart to their car. I always return all my carts to inside the store. I had significant difficulty trying to carry my stuff out. I'm just glad that I didn't slip on the icy pavement while carrying everything. I'll never go back.

Whatever you do do not go into this specific location if you buy milk all of the jugs are spoiled and rotten and they give you a hard time if you wanna get your money back. If I would’ve had to go back and get the spoiled milk and then bring it back, I would’ve dumped it all over that floor and then then walked out

Stopped to get large plastic storage containers. It's been awhile since I stopped and bought things...
Not much has changed: Boxes in isles I guess to unpack to a shelve, storage containers on shelve, damaged top or the storage box ( racked, and whole in plastic).
I do have to add, young lady at register/check out: friendly, polite, ready to complete transition, She was new she admitted.
I replied thru my mask. "You did fine, great".
Why do you think new employees dont stay long? Transferred to another store, moved up in business description Or quit???

Most staff are friendly. Stock seems to always need to be put out on shelves. Can find what I need most of the time. There has been more than a few times when they didn't have a product I needed for several days it was out. I have seen a price increase in many of their items but most still at fair price.
