Entry fee: C$16 per pax. After visiting this privately-owned park, it reminded me of Haw Par Villa in Singapore. In the 20th-century, the founder of HPV wanted to inculcate the values of filial piety, good deeds etc, so he spent a fortune out of his pocket, to make numerous figurines in the park for families to visit. At The Enchanted Forest, I felt the same intention too—the founder wanted the children to play in the forest and love nature. In that case, this cannot be compared with a world-class theme park.
To make our money worthwhile, we went to an easy trail behind the park.

Really neat experience. Never seen anything like it. Went as adults with two dogs and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The forest is mesmerizing with its grandeur and the height of its trees. The fairy-tale characters are not particularly attractive—I would even say they look a bit scary—but their little stone houses are quite charming. Perhaps children enjoy them; I’m speaking from an adult’s perspective.

I think it’s worth visiting at least once. What I remember most was a hummingbird drinking nectar, and also the moment when it started raining while the sun was still shining. It felt truly magical. ✨🌲🌦️🕊️

If you’re looking for a truly unforgettable way to spend a day with your kids, the Enchanted Forest is an absolute gem. From the moment you step in, you’re transported into a whimsical world that feels like it’s been pulled straight from the pages of a fairytale.

The park strikes the perfect balance between imagination and fun. Every corner is filled with charming, handcrafted details—storybook characters, hidden pathways, and playful displays that spark curiosity in both kids and adults. It’s not just about rides (though there are plenty of those!); it’s about the experience of exploring a place where creativity comes alive.

What really stands out is how family-friendly everything is. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming, and designed so that children of all ages can enjoy themselves safely. Whether your little ones want to climb, slide, wander, or simply marvel at the surroundings, there’s something for everyone—and plenty of chances for parents to join in the fun too.

Another highlight is how easy it is to spend an entire day here without feeling rushed. There are plenty of shaded areas, spots to relax, and opportunities to take breaks while still soaking in the magic. It’s the kind of place where memories are made naturally—no stress, just pure delight.

Bottom line: If you’re anywhere nearby, the Enchanted Forest is a must-see. It’s more than just a park—it’s a magical escape that will leave your kids smiling long after you’ve left, and honestly, you might feel like a kid again too. 🌲✨

Good experience however it may only be good if you have small kids 1-12y? The houses are made to fairy tales we heard as kids. Might be good to familiarise them with the tales for best experience of the place.

Our visit to the Enchanted Forest was absolutely wonderful! It truly brought back so many childhood memories—walking through fairy tale displays, climbing treehouses, and exploring whimsical paths made us feel like kids again.

There was so much to see and do, and every corner was filled with charm and creativity. We had so much fun taking pictures, discovering hidden spots, and just enjoying the nostalgic atmosphere.

It’s a perfect place for both kids and adults to experience a bit of magic. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relive some childhood joy or just have a fun and unique day out!

Almost 40 and this place was still magical. The staff are so lovely! Tall gorgeous cedars everywhere and tucked in amongst the beauty is little things from your childhood, every story I had heard growing up was infront of me. It was nostalgic and stunning, the detail that goes into this place is next level. There is a salmon run in the fall, you can walk the boardwalk trail and watch them swim down stream. They have a duck and rainbow trout pond you can buy food in the gift shop for them, the ducks will eat out of your hand! The trout are pigs and entertaining to watch! The nature walk is beautiful but up hill and not super awesome for a prairie chicken like me but was worth it for the pictures! The bathrooms were cleaner than most indoor places and they were outside and had running water! There is an adventure place within it for kids as well but even if you just do the enchanted forest you will be amazed! Highly recommend, this was by far the best thing on our trip itinerary! The gift shop was also reasonably priced, not a thing often seen in BC. Lots of trinkets and tshirts to look through!

I went with my 15 year old daughter to stay at Crazy Creek hot pools resort and this place was not even a 5min drive away. I think the entry price was quite low compared to other places we travel, and we have traveled a LOT. It was shady and not over crowded. Very clean. I loved the huge trees and plants.
My daughter liked going in the little houses even though she is 5ft tall.
We took nearly 2 hours walking around as we stopped to enjoy the forest in many places.
It was so very different and unusual.

What a great place to roam around. We are seniors And had a great time. We did take the nature walk and that was quite the trek. What goes down must come up. The whole forest is beautiful laid out. We took about 2 hours to go through the forest. At the end there is a duck pond and a fish pond and you can buy food for both

Take your kids! It's such a magical place full of fairy tale characters in the forest. There is also a cute little pond with ducks and fish that the kids can feed. Absolutely loved it, will be stopping here regularly.

Even if you dont have children, it's such a whimsical walk, there is also a nature path that is gorgeous.

This is a terrific stop for all ages. It is geared for kids but the whimsy is fun and it’s a nice walk in the forest to break up the drive on the highway. I recommend stopping for all ages. Still reasonably priced + you can buy duck and fish food to feed at the pond

We went with our daughter and our 2 grandchildren ages 1 and 4 years of age. There was so much to see and do for our 4 year old from going into all the little houses: the 3 little pigs, the 3 bears, the dwarfs, climbing the pirate ship and the huge tree house twice and feeding the fish to name a few highlights. We enjoyed our picnic lunch at the picnic tables near the fish pond. While the website suggested 30 minute walk through we spent 41/2 hours and never even made it to the nature trail.

What a beautiful place, this forest seems like wonderland. The thought behind the creator for this shows a lot of creativity. They have turned things into beautiful leaves of art, tiny little sculptures ,homes ,and if you enter those homes then beddings and other little things. Good place to take your kids to. Highly recommend visiting this for once. You can see this within an hours time. On road and good enough parking space.

My kids absolutely loved it here. We have driven by a couple of times before on our way but this time we had an hour on hand and decided to take the kids there. They couldn't be happier. Took us almost 50 minutes and the kids still couldn't complete all of it. Would recommend an hour for curious kids. The tree house is indeed GRAND and well built!!

This was soo much fun!!! Watching my daughter explore the forest with all its houses and characters was wonderful! We also knew the nursery rhymes displayed, which made it just as exciting for us parents. I recommend buying the food for the ducks and fish at the end of the trail. Also, bring extra money to grab a souvenir at the gift shop, you wont want to leave without something to remember this magical place by. ✨️

We visited the Enchanted Forest for the first time, and we really enjoyed it. The park is well-maintained, and we created lots of refreshing memories. As kids, we had heard the stories, and seeing those tales brought to a fun filled little world, was so much fun.

There’s a trail called the “Nature Walk,” which is a wonderful 2-kilometer path. It was the best part of our visit, as it’s surrounded by thick trees and offers incredible views. As we walked through the woods, we spotted a train passing through at the other end of the lush green forest, and it looked so picturesque.

The Trans Canadian Highway is often a boring drive. If they had more roadside attractions like this gem, it might make for a pretty fun road trip. This is an attraction geared towards younger children, but is something that everyone can enjoy. There are many fun scenes setup throughout the park. The craftsmanship is a little lumpy, a little off, but that makes it all the more enjoyable. It has an incredible charm to the experience that is unique from other storybook attractions. The admission is cheap and it takes about 1-2 hours to get through. I recommend anyone looking for a break on this often desolate road to have a stop and take yourself to another world.

I really wish I had brought my kids here when they were younger. Their imagination would have gone wild! However, we all still had a great time, even in the rain. Our personal favorite was the Nature Trail
