A few years back, they had a stand in the Round Up Center arts and crafts section during the Stampede, and had a selection of camera`s. I saw the Rebel and told my husband that was the camera I wanted. The jerk behind the counter said, `NO YOU DON`T! YOU WANT THIS ONE!` and proceeded to try to sell me a point and shoot camera!
We bought a Rebel XTi from Best Buy and my lenses from The Camera Store. I refuse to shop Vistek because of this one idiot who told me what I want.

Ordered a lens from them, was on sale of $530 (original $840) in store and online. However, after they got my credit card information and everything, they first confirm me with the offer and said they ACCEPTED my order. Couple days after, they said it is change to "Backorder" (with the same price!), I think, it's fine, I don't mind to wait for a while, but one day after, they change the order AGAIN!! and they bring the price up to $840, what a joke~! Are they serious on their business~!? I doubt!!

I've always had mixed experience with their sales staff. They are more concerned with their corporate clients then the public. It's outrageous. Their rental department however I have always had good experiences with. In fact I just booked some gear with them about an hour ago.
