Prior to medical school, he worked in laboratory medicine in Greenwich, Connecticut. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and received a graduate certificate in Public Health from George Washington University. He completed internal medicine residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York.
