Loved my experience with colibrí. I’ve gotten about 8 to 10 piercings with them over the past few years all at the queen location. I recently got a piercing removed by Marca because It wasn’t healing well, and it was so smooth. She had such a gentle hand And really happy she made it painless. The staff and service have consistently been grea. If I were on the market to get more piercings, I’d definitely go back to Colibrí exclusively!

I decided to get my first tattoo (at 18) and was very nervous but, my artist Melika was very calming, talked me through the process and made sure everything was perfect! She was so professional and reassuring and made sure it was as painless and fast as possible. The price was very affordable and flexible with discounts. The vibe of the shop were great, nice ambient space and chill people all around. I would highly recommend coming to this shop for a tattoo (especially a first one) and hopefully I'll be coming back for a second tattoo! It as been about one month since I got my conch piercing. The healing process was great. I have had no signs of infection or negative reactions, and everything feels good.

Although there was some bleeding during the piercing which I understand can be normal the procedure itself was smooth, and I really appreciated the professionalism from your piercer.
The aftercare guidance was clear and helpful.

Got my lobe piercing done here today and the whole experience was absolutely smooth and seamless. I did a walk-in, quickly filled out the form, and only waited about 7–10 minutes before being attended to. I was served by Pounds, who was super sweet and made me feel completely at ease. The process was so smooth that I barely even felt the piercing—no pain, just smiles!

Her professionalism, care, and dedication truly stood out, and I’m really happy with the service. The pricing was fair as well—I paid $124 (including 2 premium earrings, both lobes piercing, plus tax), which I think is perfect for the quality and experience I received.

Staff were friendly, professional and informative. Tattooists explained everything pertaining to services and aftercare. Visited shop with my daughter & it was very clean with good energy flowing. Will definitely stop back when back in CA.

I’m really disappointed with my experience here. I went on a Sunday and paid full price for a navel piercing. The piercer marked the spot, but after it was done I immediately noticed it looked slanted. At first, I tried to convince myself it was just me, but after checking it every day, it’s clear the piercing is not straight or centered.

What makes me even sadder is that the piercing itself is healing well, but it doesn’t look right. I trusted the piercer to do it properly, and now I’m left with something permanent that bothers me every time I look at it. For the price I paid, I expected much more care and attention to detail.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience has been really upsetting and I don’t want anyone else to go through the same disappointment.

Went in for the tuesday special and i don’t know how to feel. My piercer was a sweetheart and really took her time but my belly piercing bar is 100% too short meaning im gonna have to pay even more to have it changed somewhere else. And my lobes are uneven, one side is so high it barely even looks like a third almost looks like a forth. I get it’s $25 so it is what it is but definitely sucks because I am most likely having to get one lobe repierced and gonna have to spend even more money to fix my belly button bar.

I went for the Tuesday piercing promotion. I get that it would have been busy for them but I don’t understand why the piercer was so cold and didn’t even say anything about alcohol consumption or taking care of the piercing UNTIL I asked myself.

Also, they pierced the wrong piercing. When I arrived, I told the employee in the front that I wanted a snug, however when I showed the photo (1st photo attached) they said the area is called conch. I showed the photo again to the piercer to confirm and they also said it’s called conch. I didn’t doubt them but I just noticed today that the area I wanted WAS indeed a snug, but they misinterpreted??? the photo and pierced a conch. I get that the two areas look similar, but I really would have appreciated if they carefully looked and pierced since it is permanent.

The overall piercing experience was alright but I don’t think I’ll be coming back since the service was quite disappointing.

I recently got two tattoos at Colibri Tattoo & Piercing with Navi, and I couldn’t be happier with his work! He was incredibly patient, kind, and took the time to understand my vision, even sketching multiple size options for me to choose from. His attention to detail and care made the experience fantastic. The shop itself is clean, well-laid-out, and offers a comfortable level of privacy in the tattoo areas.

However, the front desk experience wasn’t as smooth. Pricing felt inconsistent—on my first visit, the receptionist openly discussed different price options with Navi in front of me, which was a bit awkward. While I went in on a Thursday expecting the $50 promotion, I was ultimately charged the shop minimum on my second visit, seemingly because I booked directly with Navi. The promotions and pricing policies could be clearer.

Additionally, customer service at the front desk could be improved. The receptionist didn’t greet customers as they arrived, and many—including myself—were left waiting without acknowledgment, which made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. I was also interested in their gold jewelry selection but wasn’t encouraged to browse, which was a missed opportunity for both sides.

That being said, Navi is a fantastic artist, and I would absolutely return for more tattoos with him. If the front desk experience and pricing clarity improved, this would easily be a 5-star shop.

Colibri Tattoos is a great place to get a tattoo! I’ve seen their tattoo artist Navi @inkedbynavi for a few tattoos now, and he is absolutely amazing! He does incredibly realistic tattoos, they heal great and look perfect. Navi is very nice, easy to talk to and makes the tattoo experience go by so fast and makes it fun! He is such a nice guy and a great artist and the way he tattoos makes getting them almost painless! I can’t wait to go back and get more! I’ve visited Colibri’s tattoo shop numerous times and have always had a delightful experience dealing with the staff, but especially with Navi. great experience at the shop, unfortunately I cannot say the same for the piercing results. I got my cartilage piercing done here 8 months ago and it was completely botched. The piercing was at a downward 45° angle and was basically hidden in the flap of my ear. After months of trying to get it to heal, all it did was stay swollen, puffy and red. Utterly disappointed and now I'm stuck with permanent bumps on my ear from the botched piercing job.
