I was planning on doing a bike ride before leaving town. I powered up my e-bike and had a red light flashing on my power button. I was taking my bike out of town for the winter season the next day. I panicked because I ride my bike a lot in the winter. That said, I took my bike to Erik’s in Deerfield Illinois. They knew exactly how to fix and did it while I waited. Great customer service!

Aria and her team at the Deerfield store did a fantastic job in helping resolve a major issue with my Specialized Vado SL 4.0 e-bike. After having issues in the past with a loose crank arm on my bike, in early July it became loose again. This time Aria and a technician took a more detailed examination of the issue and found that the gearings in the motor were part of the problem. I was scheduled to do a 150-mile charity ride in three weeks and really needed my bike to work properly. She quickly contacted the correct channels to see about having this handled as a warranty issue. Luckily, after filing the necessary paperwork and getting approval to order the replacement motor and parts, the needed parts arrived at the Deerfield store the day before I needed to leave town for the ride. Aria and Chuck in her service department were able to complete the repair in time for me to pick up my bike and complete the charity bike ride.
Aria and her team showed me great customer service in doing their best to make me a very happy customer by having my bike repaired for the charity ride. Her great customer service continued afterwards too, she took the time to call me a few days after the ride to make sure it went well and there were no issues with the bike.

My husband and I stopped on way home from vacation. Ended up testing riding 4 different models of E bikes. We left to go home and continue researching. Two days later we purchased my bike at Oak brook store then drove back to Deerfield to purchase another one for my husband. We can't say enough about the customer service at BOTH locations but Naomi in Deerfield went above and beyond with not only her knowledge but customer service mindset. EXTREME SHOUT OUT TO NAOMI. We are both enjoying our retirement gifts to ourselves. 🚵‍♀️

My son and I stopped by to buy a scooter and had a great experience. The scooter selection was fairly small, with only a few models on display, but we found exactly what we were looking for. The shop appears to have a huge selection of bikes, and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the process. Great customer service and a pleasant local bike shop. Would definitely return.

Aria was very professional and knows her stuff about e-bikes. She took time out of her busy day to spend time with us so we knew how to operate our bike. We highly recommend Eric's bike shop in Deerfield IL.
