Finding companies you can TRUST and that actually do exceptional work can be difficult. I’m beyond thankful for Easy Home Improvement and the work they did on my chimney. They were thorough in their explanation of what was needed, the process and their quality of work exceeded my expectations and the cost reasonably priced. I could not have asked for a better outcome and experience. This was in Hazel Park Michigan.

From Easy Home Improvement Ken examined our brick wall which had caved in, and explained exactly what his crew needed to do to fix it, and provided me with an estimate. Rick and Sam were very professional and experts in repairing the brick wall. They brought all of the equipment and materials needed and did exceptional work. I also appreciated the fantastic job they did in cleaning up. I would highly recommend this company for any brick masonry work needed.

Sam and Rick not only ground out and tuck, pointed my entire porch,, but also painted it, removed my old steps and replaced them. Additionally, when they first pulled up to drop off equipment, they noticed that my chimney was in severe need of repair with bricks crumbling, and moss growing throughout . The capstone was broken and the flashing was loose. Day one they rebuilt our chimney, demolished our old steps, and removed all loose mortar between cinder blocks and filled with fresh. The second day they came back, they removed the old paint and sealed all the masonry blocks with drylock. When that was done, they set and leveled 2 new cement stair treads. Both were very friendly and courteous. They cleaned up all the leftover debris, and washed off any that was in my grass! If I could give 10 stars I would!

I live in a small bungalow in Royal Oak and had quite a bit of work that needed to be done on my house. This included replacing bricks on the front and side walls, tuck pointing the porch, and repairing the chimney, which had developed significant cracking.

I reached out to Easy Home Improvement and was able to schedule a walkthrough with Ken just a few days later. He provided a quote for the porch and front of the house, but explained that quoting the chimney was tricky without getting on the roof. He said they’d assess it on the day of the job if I decided to move forward, which I did, as the pricing seemed pretty competitive given the scope of what needed to get done.

On the scheduled day, Sam and Rick showed up. Sam climbed onto the roof, assessed the chimney quickly, identified that it needed tuck pointing and a new crown, and gave me a price for adding it onto the original quote. I figured the job would take at least two days, especially with a two-hour rain delay, but to my surprise, they managed to complete 99% of the work that same day, even working late to make sure the job got done.

The next day, Sam and Rick came back to finish the final touches, and everything looked great. They clearly know their craft and went above and beyond for me. I genuinely felt like they had my best interests in mind and weren’t just trying to upsell me.

On top of that, Easy Home Improvement offers 18-month 0% interest financing, which made paying for the job a lot easier.

I’d absolutely use Easy Home Improvement again and would recommend them to anyone needing brickwork, tuck pointing, or chimney repairs done.

Sam and this crew did a wonderful job with the tuck pointing, cap and crown repair on my furnace and fireplace chimney. They explained all work completed, identified areas of concern for future repairs and maintenance as well as offered suggestions for weatherproofing. The work area was clean afterwards and items were put back in place as if they were never here. I would use them again.

Great work, professional team, completed quickly and over delivered. Had porch tuckpointed, replaced sinking poured step with precast and new foundation, chimney tuck pointed with crown replaced, they even fixed 4 glass block windows and additional mortar around the house at no additional cost. Highly recommended.

I contacted Easy Home Improvement about getting some brickwork done on the sides of my front porch steps. They were able to fit me in that same week for the initial estimate which was a plus. Ken arrived on time and explained what was going on in detail and why it was going on. He answered all of my questions and went over all of my options with me. I appreciated all the information and the honesty about what I needed to do and what didn’t need to be done. It was easy to get ahold of him and he always responded in a timely manner. They worked with my schedule which made scheduling this project convenient for me. When it came down to getting the actual work done, the crew arrived on time. (As a matter of fact they were a little early) Sam did a further inspection around the house and pointed out a few other areas to keep my eye on. The chimney was concerning and something I wanted to fix. They were able to fit that in the same day as well which was another plus. By the end of the work day everything was completed, cleaned up, and looked great. Sam went out of his way to secure a couple steps that became loose which I thought was very kind of him. They even came back a couple days later and painted the new bricks to match the existing ones. I wasn’t expecting that or a perfect color match! Overall it was easy working with Easy Home Improvement. They were professional, fair, and fast which made this project a pleasant experience. Sam, Corey, and Nick were a great group of friendly and reliable guys. I would recommend them and this company to anyone with masonry needs!

Easy Home Improvement was easy to work with. Kenny came out & took a look at my chimney. He explained what needed to be done in detail & why it should be done the way he explained. I appreciated the educational information. Kenny was very informative. Their crew came out & and worked very efficiently on my chimney repair. Cleaned up behind themselves & rinsed off any dust from my roof which I wasn't expecting. Nice group of guys. My chimney looks great. Overall Kenny & crew did an excellent job. I'm very pleased with my experience with Easy Home Improvement. I will recommend to family & friends in the market for brick masonry repairs.
