She hopes to continue to use her education and skills to perform much needed procedures for women in need. She completed a research project on the transplacental passage of vancomycin from mother to neonate. Dr. Onwuchuruba went into the OBGYN field because she loves being able to work in the OR while also being able to have a long-term relationship with her patients.
