It's been about 8 years ago and yet I can't shake off the feeling that I get thinking about the experience I had. I met Ms Annie Papazian at a Bridal Show at Bonnaventure and immediately bonded and liked her so much and knew that instant that she was the one I wanted to take pictures of my wedding. I didn't go see elsewhere, barter on price ..... I would pay top dollar to just have someone I could relate to etc. Prior to the wedding (perhaps a month or so) Annie called and said there would be someone else doing the wedding shoot. I was so incredibly disappointed and told her so but she said she was already booked, that the contract we signed was just for a shoot but reassured me that she would get someone just as nice and she hooked me up with someone who seemed nice; so I spent time talking to her (on the phone) prior to our meeting and told her all I wanted and desired and she assured me she understood......then a few days before the wedding Annie called me to tell me that she has to send someone else for the wedding ..... with so much going on (I was remarrying with 6 kids youngest was 8 months old so pictures were very important for the 2 families to merge.....anyway, I was practically in tears but suppressed them and met the photographer before my wedding. He didn't know what I wanted, he took a family picture of my sister and her family on the background that I had wanted and I was denied the same background when my time came; the photographer hadn't cleared it with the establishment.....we married at Chateau Vaudreuil......so disappointing. I didn't think his size mattered, because he was slightly obese but the weather being hot outside on an August afternoon he began to sweat profusely staining his white shirt. Then he told me he couldn't take anymore pictures as he only had so many to take and that was all. I wanted to ask him why he didn't tell me this before because I ended up having only "1" picture that could be "ok" of husband, I and our 6 kids. The pictures themselves were ok but there is so much more to finding a photographer for your wedding than the pictures and I just had to write because I am cleaning out space and found Annie's business card and felt very sad with bad memories but still a great marriage. I am just trying to help anyone else who wants to hire a photographer......make sure you can cancel the contract if the person you want is only the bait and find out how many pictures you can have. Good luck.

Hello Pierette, I just came across your review and was very saddened by your unpleasant experience. I wish you had not remained silent and brought this incident to my attention. I take lots of care trying to please all of my clients needs. What was the date of your wedding ? 8 years before 2013 ? I did dismiss a heavy set male photographer about that time for his performance, that may have been your photographer. I'm so very sorry for your disappointment. Since the year 2010 I have been taking fewer weddings and committing to cover them myself. I have 2 other female photographers who are amazing with their coverage and service. Please call me if you'd like at 514 694 7972 to see how I may make this up to you :)
