My fiancé and I are currently touring wedding venues, and unfortunately, this was one of the most unprofessional experiences we’ve had so far.

We drove an hour out of our way for a scheduled appointment that had been booked two weeks in advance. The venue also reached out to reconfirm our appointment the day of — including approximately one hour before we were scheduled to arrive — so there was absolutely no confusion about whether we were expected.

We arrived about 10 minutes early and followed the parking instructions we had been provided. We were also specifically told that if the door was locked, we should contact them so someone could come let us in.

We texted to let them know we had arrived. No response. We called twice. No answer. I rang the doorbell. Still nothing.

We waited approximately 15 minutes past our scheduled appointment time before finally deciding to leave.

What made the situation even more baffling was that another vehicle arrived around the time of our appointment, and the individual was able to walk directly inside without acknowledging us (not sure of their affiliation). Despite someone clearly being present at the venue, we were still completely ignored.

As a couple planning a wedding, you are already making an enormous decision about who you can trust with one of the most important days of your life. To have a venue actively confirm an appointment shortly beforehand and then completely ghost you upon arrival — after you’ve driven an hour to meet with them — is incredibly disrespectful of your time.

If this is the level of communication and consideration shown before a contract is even signed, I can only imagine how concerning it would be to depend on them once your wedding is actually in their hands.

Completely unacceptable and an incredibly disappointing first impression.

One word: HENRY! Henry, the studio manager I met while working on a network television production, was hands down one of the most professional, accommodating, and considerate people I've worked with. He always made himself available to my team, listened carefully to our needs, and often anticipated them before we even had to ask. Thanks to his attention to detail and proactive approach, our time in the studio ran seamlessly.

My only criticism of Henry? He's a Washington Commanders fan...and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I'll let you draw your own conclusions there. Ha!

Seriously though, if you're looking for a top-notch production or event space backed by an exceptional team, AMBIENT is the place to be.

We had an amazing experience! They were so kind and helped us create the perfect vision with our space. They weren’t too strict on party volume or decor, which we liked. They also let us bring our own food and dj. The fee was reasonable and there weren’t any surprise fees. Definitely will book again!

We hosted the Emory Rollins School of Public Health Annual Fall Fling at Ambient+ Studio, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The space was welcoming, flexible, and perfectly suited for our reception, dinner, and dance. The lighting truly did its job — it set the tone, elevated the atmosphere, and made the event feel special while also photographing beautifully.

The Ambient+ team made everything easy and seamless, which allowed us to focus on our guests. Most importantly, everyone had an amazing time, and the feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. We would absolutely recommend Ambient+ Studio for any large-scale event and my team at Emory University including myself hopes to work with them again!
