She is a graduate of Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas, with a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from St. James School of Medicine in Anguilla in 2017 and completed residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. She spent two years in rural Iowa, practicing full-spectrum Family Medicine including Obstetrics Inpatient Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Thomas is Board-Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates. She currently holds licensure in the states of South Carolina, Texas and Iowa. She is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
