I want to share my experience with Home Helpers Properties based on what happened today. I made it very clear to both Dana and another person earlier that I did not want to move forward with anything until I found a home that I genuinely liked. None of the available homes were up to par, and I communicated that multiple times.

Despite this, I still received several calls today pushing me to continue a process I had already declined. Brian/ Bryan was the third call I received, and unfortunately the interaction was extremely unprofessional. He attempted to pressure me into moving forward “so I would not miss out” and implied that I might not be prepared when I finally find a home I like. When I explained that I am already pursuing traditional financing and that I have owned a home before, he became dismissive and leaned on his “20 years of experience” as if that should override my decision-making.

What he failed to consider is that not every client fits the assumptions he may be used to. I am Ivy League educated and an Emmy-winning actress, and I am more than capable of making informed decisions about what is best for me. I am also not the type of woman you can gaslight or pressure into a decision that is not aligned with my goal. Titles aside, every client deserves respect, autonomy, and the space to decide on their own timeline without pressure or condescension.

Every customer’s situation is different. Some of us operate from confidence rather than fear. If a home is meant for me, things will align without me being pushed into something that does not feel right. Pressure tactics do not build trust, and today’s interaction made that clear.

I also documented the conversation for my records because I believe in transparency and accountability. I truly hope this company approaches future clients with more respect, patience, and understanding.

When I close on the right property, and I will, it will be on my terms and never because someone attempted to pressure me or rush my decision.

Home Helpers were able to get me into my home and promised new appliances. Soon after purchasing and moving in there was an issue with the air condition, and under no contract for Home Helpers to resolve the air conditioning issue, they assisted by sending a check for the repairs and apologized. 10 out of 10 customer service.

I applied online, went seen the house, then talked to Dana and applied. Was told I would here back the next day. That's was May 14, still never heard back. Whether I was approved or denied not to receive a call back was unprofessional. I would not recommend using this company.

I just learned about this program and if it is what it says, then this model should be used everywhere because we all mess up, but intentionally, because we have no choice until we can struggle our way back to ownership and peace

Tried to get a showing of the Almond creek home when it first popped up, no answer and no return call. Tried on other homes and nothing. My brother in law got to go see a house of theirs on his own by looking through windows, gave them all his info, then nothing. They only display one or two homes on their site that are actually for sale. The rest are always sold!
