This company and its staff are extremely difficult to deal with. Their business practices lack professionalism, honesty, and basic respect for customers. I was repeatedly misled, left chasing answers for a fully paid order that was never delivered, and ultimately forced to cancel and request a refund. After wasting an entire week and delaying my project, I can confidently say I will not be returning or recommending this company to anyone.

The best quality products and customer service in all of Nova Scotia. If you need direction or quality material, call Sara! Extremely knowledgeable on all forms of roofing, and insightful for any homeowner/installer with questions. I've had deliveries from them sent all across Nova Scotia and they are always punctual and communicative. The boom truck operaters, especially Travis, are extremely skilled and hasn't let me down yet.
I can't speak highly enough of Beacon. If you need material or insight, call Sara!

I have had nothing but trouble with these guys. They said I would get my siding materials in 5 weeks and it has now been 5 months. They keep telling us our siding will be in next week or in a couple of weeks but it never shows up and always ends up with me calling them back. Common answers as to why I have been waiting so long are “I don’t know” or “they messed up the paperwork”. Unfortunately, I am stuck locked in with these guys due to financial reasons, and my contractor, them and I are all losing money now. Very disappointed in all of this. I recommend going anywhere else and don’t believe their lies to lure you in.

Update:
Got my siding about a couple of weeks after my initial post. For the prices of the siding, it is pretty cheap stuff. Got their split shake and the corners are different shades of the same colour and just look really cheap and out of place. Doesn’t match the siding well at all. On top of that, the siding doesn’t really connect well and we are having issues keeping piece from falling off. Had to resort to using screws to hold pieces in place which are visible from the outside. Again, go somewhere else…

Sara was absolutely fantastic to deal with through our entire roofing project. After her excellent professional advice we went with the CertainTeed Landmark Pro which is a fantastic roof shingle. It fit our budget and even our Roofing Contractor remarked how top quality and easy to install these shingles were!! Truly amazing experience from start to finish!!! Highly recommend Sara and the entire amazing Team at Beacon Roofing Dartmouth NS!!

In the past few years I have been dealing with Beacon and never had any problems with delivery of roofing supplies to the job sites. They were always on time and provide excellent customer service.
