We recently hired Crandall roofing to replace and fix some copper gutters on our home in Mill Valley. They also did some roof repair work. Marco and his team are hard workers who arrived promptly and finish the job in less than a day. Replacing a roof is a big decision and after researching Santa Rosa roofing companies I chose Crandall Roofing, Inc. They have an excellent reputation for doing quality work and that was my primary issue for my decision. Crandall Roofing replaced my roof on a two-story hou8se with a very steep roof pitch.
Crandall Roofing did a superb job with the workmanship and attention to details in shingle removal and in putting the new material on the roof. A number of problems with the old roof were encountered and the workers identified such problems and fixed them properly for functionality and appearance. I am very delighted with the job that Crandall Roofing and would recommend them to anyone considering replacing a roof. In addition, when the building inspector signed off on the job, that he mentioned to me that it has been his experience that Crandall Roofing has a excellent reputation doing the job right.

I got very lucky with Crandall Roofing. I had actually contracted with another company to replace my old, leaky cement tile roof. First I needed to have the solar panels removed. That was all completed but then those big February rains came and we needed to reschedule. Then another series of unfortunate events occurred and ultimately the company was no longer able to do the roofing job. Meanwhile, my panels were still down and on my patio, I was hosting a wedding event in a few weeks and I needed to find another roofer. Everyone I called was scheduled out for months, including Crandall Roofing, but after hearing my story they managed to make room for my job the following week! And what fabulous work they did! Thomas was wonderful with communicating all aspects of the work with me. The team, under Arturio's direction, was so professional and when they ran into problems they dealt with it. That included finding some dry rot and doing an amazing job of replacing the wood in those areas. They were so friendly and all seemed perfectly in sync between them. Everything, including a great job of cleanup, was completed within a week. I don't think I could have worked with a better company - so ultimately, the early series of unfortunate events worked in my favor. I highly recommend Crandall Roofing.

I had a great experience with Crandall Roofing Daniel came out to my house for a leak that I have had for several years had several contractors roofers come out say they fix the problem never was resolved. Spent thousands of dollars Daniel came out. He addressed the leak issue. He said it was a simple fix. I was still hesitant because I’ve been taking advantage of by so many contractors but he was correct. He came out fix the problem had many of atmospheric river storms in 2025 through 26 and after many years, my house does not leak I’d like to say thank you from the bottom of heart I highly recommend this company

We are extremely satisfied with the recent work of Crandall Roofing, Inc. to replace our roof. The communication was excellent throughout the whole process, from the bid onwards. When extra work was needed, we received an itemized list of necessary supplies as well as pictures of the issue. It was only then that we were asked to sign our agreement for this extra work. The roofers were friendly and cleaned up the yard completely at the close of each work day.

Daniel, who is the estimator, he was excellent and worked with me to come up with a price and quality that was what i was looking for. The work was done very professionally, and I did have issues with one employee but after a call to Daniel that was rectified and the job was actually completed 2 days early. I would highly recommend Crandall Roofing for any roofing job. They are not the cheapest, but the quality of the work done makes the added cost worth it. The warranties on product and workmanship were also very important for me.

Crandall roofing was hired to repair the roof leakage last January; we paid around $500; the roof stopped leaking for a short time. Last September it started leaking again; we paid around $2500 for the repair; we were told that it is completely fixed this time. Today it leaked so badly; we called them; we are asked to do Docusign. Nothing had been improved; only money is losing with leaking.

I researched and got estimates from three major roofers in the Sonoma/Marin region. One was outrageously expensive, one was on the low price side with no effort to come out and visit. Crandall's price fell right in the middle, and going "on line" and researching roof prices it seemed like their price right where it should be. They arrived and inspected and explained everything. We opted NOT to reroof a free standing garage as they told us it wasn't necessary. That was appreciated! They gave us three options based on material costs. We went with the mid range.They suggested alteration to our poorly vented roof which we added on for not too much money. They did some minor carpentry repairs for the "going hourly rate" around here. They arrived with their own port-a-potty, which meant no workers using our house, which we appreciated. Always cleaned up the work area at the end of the day. They were in communication before during and after the job. The crew did a fantastic job of protecting our just finished home paint job. Nice polite guys who REALLY work the butts off!!! Amazing good crew. Roof warranty transferable to next owner, which really is good for resale one day. Thanks guys good job!

We had our property in Guerneville re-roofed after finding extensive damage during our remodel, and were so pleased with the quality of the work and of the care the team took of our home that we also decided to re-do the mansard roof with metal material (in lieu of shingles) thereafter. A True Professional: Exceptional Emergency Service from Crandall Roofing’s Mike DeSouza

The photo you see was taken by my next-door neighbor last night, just before sunset. A major wind and rainstorm was forecast to hit by 5 a.m., with severe rain and gusts exceeding 50 mph. Staring at the exposed section of my three-story home’s roof, I felt a moment of panic.

Unsure of what to do, I reached out to my neighbor, Mike DeSouza, an estimator with Crandall Roofing. Despite being in the middle of an evening commitment, Mike didn’t hesitate—he said he’d come by as soon as he was free, around 8:30 p.m.
“In the dark?” I asked, picturing the sheer height of the damaged section.

“I’ll be able to check it out,” he replied in a calm, reassuring tone.
Right on time, headlights appeared in my driveway. Mike got out, set up his ladder, turned on his headlamp, and got to work—all while I stood on the ground, marveling at his confidence and skill. Using professional-grade materials designed for flat roofs, which was the only material he had available at home, he secured a temporary fix to protect my home from the impending storm.

Before leaving, Mike promised to return as soon as the weather cleared, not just to provide an estimate for a permanent repair but to inspect the condition of my entire 20-year-old roof. His commitment to going above and beyond was evident.

After extensive research into local companies, roofing concepts, and shingle types and brands, we engaged Crandall Roofing to replace our large 28-year-old roof. The whole experience, from initial site visit to final walkthrough, was excellent and highly professional. The end result looks wonderful, and we are so happy to have an attractive roof that will protect our home from the extremes of Sonoma County weather. We selected Malarkey Legacy shingles due to their superior durability, best-in-class ranking, and color choices. The final result really shows the quality of both the product and its installation.

We primarily worked with Daniel, Crandall's main project coordinator. He was clearly the most knowledgeable and helpful estimator of all those that visited us and submitted quotes. The communication with the Crandall office staff was great, from the initial contract, site preparation, project status, the permit and paperwork, and final payment. We always knew what to expect and what the next step was.

The project itself was very well run, and we preferred the smaller and highly skilled crew over the nearby 1-day rip-and-replace jobs by other roofing companies. As an engineer, I appreciated the attention to detail, especially on our complex roof, and how tidy the job site was left at the end of each day. Everyone in the crew was very friendly and considerate, and always addressed our questions and concerns. Special thanks to Antonio (aka "Tiger"), a skilled craftsman who replaced many rotten fascia and other boards, and fabricated some difficult pieces. Daniel took numerous photos throughout, which helped document the degraded roof structure under the old shingles, the repair work, and also the amazing final result.

Our sincere thanks to Daniel and everyone at Crandall for your excellent service, and we absolutely recommend you to those seeking a reliable and appealing new roof installed by experts!

I’m a painting contractor who runs a company with many employees and moving parts. As such I tend to hold other contractors to my own level of professionalism. Crandall Roofing, especially Daniel, were awesome from the start. Their quote was very reasonable. And the quality of the work is incredible. Good communication, good employees, respectful, clean up was great. I would say no need for many bids just hire them.
