I cannot say enough good things about Providence Veterinary Care. After calling at least 12 other veterinary clinics, I kept hearing the same thing: “We’re full,” “We’re not accepting new patients,” or “You’ll have to drop him off.” My 7-week-old Great Pyrenees puppy had been having diarrhea for several days, and I knew he needed to be seen.

Providence Veterinary Care was the only clinic that told me to bring him in right away. It was about a 45-minute drive for us, but it was absolutely worth it to have Henry seen immediately. From the moment we arrived, everyone treated us with kindness, compassion, and genuine respect. The clinic was exceptionally clean and well organized, and the entire staff made us feel welcome during an incredibly stressful time.

Dr. Caleb Glover was incredibly thorough and took the time to examine Henry, run blood work and other diagnostic tests, explain every result, answer all of my questions, and discuss every treatment option without making me feel pressured. Unfortunately, Henry tested positive for parvovirus and coccidia. Dr. Glover quickly put together a comprehensive treatment plan, explained each medication, and gave me the option of hospitalization or treating him at home.

I also appreciated how transparent they were about the costs. Everything was explained upfront, I was given options, and I felt the pricing was fair for the level of care Henry received. At no point did I feel pressured into unnecessary treatments, only guided toward what would give Henry the best chance of recovery.

Bringing home a new puppy should have been an exciting time, and finding out he had parvo was one of the scariest experiences I’ve had as a dog owner. The entire team made me feel supported, informed, and cared for every step of the way.

Henry isn’t out of the woods yet, but I truly believe he’s on an excellent treatment plan because of the care he received at Providence Veterinary Care. I’m incredibly grateful they were willing to see us when so many other clinics couldn’t. I truly believe getting him evaluated and treated so quickly gave him the best possible chance.

Thank you to Dr. Caleb Glover and the entire team at Providence Veterinary Care for your kindness, compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care. We are so thankful we found you. ❤️

My chihuahua pup was 53 days pregnant and having unusual discharge. My normal vet couldnt see me nor 4 others I called. A friend referred me here. We were there within an hour and Praise God they accepted me, a new client. My dog had to have emergency c section. She lost one and we have one. She coyld have died if it wasnt for the fast acting vet and all the employees. Here we are several hours later, at home, bottle feeding and taking care of momma.

I had to let my best friend of 14 years go today and Providence helped me end her life. They were very compassionate and caring. I just wish they had explained the process to me a little better. I still don’t know if I understand WHEN she passed or what I was supposed to do after they took her from me. I thought they were taking her away and bringing her back to me to give her the final shot. I didn’t know I’d never see her again. Now I think maybe she was gone before they took her from me but I’m not sure. I am thankful to them for helping me in my time of need so quickly and compassionately. They seem to be very kind, caring people. They were also very reasonably priced. I hope to use them again in the future.

I have a very large dog that broke one of his front legs clean in half. Our typical vet referred us to Providence to do the surgery and they were excellent every step of the way. It was a long recovery but well worth it for our fur baby to have a normal life. We are so grateful and would highly recommend this vet to anyone!

These folks are angels!! They got me in very quickly on a Saturday morning, and took great care of my cat, Fedor, when he was very sick. They were polite and professional and the clinic was nice and clean. I was in and out quickly with everything I needed to make my baby better. I couldn’t have asked for more from this place. Thank you Providence Veterinary Hospital!
