We went to check out the VR experience.
It was really cool and we had fun. My gamer companions were better at interacting with the game but I was catching up. Game had great graphics and the puzzles were fun. If go back here. Good value for $$$

This was our first Time experiencing an escape room. We did Erin’s Diary and it was absolutely incredible! The puzzles were fun yet challenging, and the story was very immersive. Matthew was very informative and polite. We will 100% be back! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a date night playing Alchemist. We love it! The storylines and interactions really create the atmosphere! It’s not your regular escape room with locks, everything is much more interesting! Thank you to our game keeper for being a part of our experience! Will definitely come back.

A lot of fun! We did a previous vr escape room where we were strapped in and this one was so much easier to move around and not be stopped in. We did mission sigma and completed it in 40 minutes, we had to work together for some of the puzzles which was different than our last experience. Will definitely be back to play other vr escape rooms!

We went to play the Alchemist and had Matthew as our amazing game master! He did a great job getting us ready for the room and assisting with a clue along the way. We had a great time here and will definitely come back! These puzzles were so interactive and fun! There are no locks so everything moves which is so unique and fun! Out of my 60+ escape rooms complete i would put this in the top 5!
Thank you for a great experience. Cant wait to try your new rooms when they open soon.

I’d say the experience was ok.
While the front desk staff was polite, he didn’t have too much enthusiasm!
The rooms are not too hard to figure out, not sure if my experiences other escape rooms has just always been different but was definitely expecting a bit more.
The price was definitely lower than most places I think at $35 per person which I think is good as opposed to $50-60.
Wouldn’t come back again but appreciate the service.

We did the Alchemist room with 4 people. Between the 4 of us we have done well over 200 rooms and seen a lot of very good and very bad rooms. This room has the right idea but just not executed well. It felt like it was built by someone who has not done escape rooms themselves.

Pros:
1. Customer service we good
2. Room was very well decorated.

Cons:
1. Room was extremely easy with little thought needed to get through the puzzles. Would be perfect for a kids intro to escape room.
Think like you find 4 blocks of different colors, put those colors into the same color box. Puzzle done.
2. Even with only 4 of us most people were just standing around since there was only 1 puzzle at a time and it was too easy to need any help or a second set of eyes.
3. All puzzles are sensor based and some were struggling to respond properly.
4. At $35 dollars plus tax this room is on the higher price for escape rooms. We finished after 30 min and it did not feel like an accomplishment.

This escape room is absolutely fantastic! Incredibly immersive from start to finish with a creative and engaging theme. The puzzles were brilliant—challenging, logical, and so satisfying to solve. This escape room is the most mind blowing one I’ve tried in Calgary. Tried the Alchemist. All the puzzles and the electrical props are sooo cool! Plus the sounds effect! Definitely recommended!

Absolutely amazing we killed it obviously but we definitely needed some help if a bit more time is needed they will allow you to finish so no one leave angry pants. Staff is friendly with a great sense of humor so crack a joke they'll love it 100/10 definitely coming back to once again destroy the rooms with total confidence.

We had a great time here! The escape room was great and we loved all the tech. The lights, sensors and puzzles were so fun to do with our kids and I appreacted they gave us 5 extra mins to finish as we were very close to finishing. Will definitely go back when their next one opens up!

I recently played The Alchemist escape room, and it was one of the most enjoyable and well-designed experiences I’ve had. From the moment we stepped into the room, the immersive story pulled us in. The setting was atmospheric and believable, with just the right mix of mystery and magic to set the tone.

We played The Alchemist room at Xperience Games today and had an amazing time! From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really set a great tone for the experience.
The room itself was incredibly immersive. The story was well thought out, and the background details really pulled us into the world. You can tell a lot of care went into the design. It’s also a high-tech room with clever puzzles and mechanisms that made it feel modern and exciting.
The puzzles were definitely challenging, but it wasn’t frustrating. Everything felt fair and logical.
Overall, a fantastic experience. I highly recommend checking out The Alchemist at Xperience Games. We'll definitely be back to try their other rooms!

The Alchemist room is unlike any other escape room we’ve done before! It had very unique puzzles and they all were different and worked well. We loved it and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! Having such interactive puzzles kept it fun and interesting. It’s also attainable to actually complete and not too hard or too easy. We can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely our best Escape Room experience as a family so far!! The innovative technology was amazing, and it was such a satisfying experience. We got to carry out The Alchemist (real life escape room) for my daughter’s 18th birthday and 4 of her siblings. Everyone had so much fun, and the owner (Jimmy) is awesome as well!! Double date night success! Alice was such a cool experience for our first VR locked room - there was no gore or suspense; stress free new experience. I had an amazing time at Xperience Games Calgary! The puzzles were unique and differs from previous traditional escape rooms, yet fun, and the storyline was really engaging. The owner was friendly and made sure we understood everything before we started, which made the experience stress-free. We did The Alchemist room and the set design was incredibly detailed—it truly felt like we were in another world. Took our 9 and 11yr old for a VR escape room. What a great experience. Kids had a blast and were way ahead of us. Clean, well laid out and very friendly owner made sure this was a great experience that provided great value.

One of the newest if not newest escape room locations in the city. The room is highly interactive and all puzzles are electronic. Very nice difference from the old school lock and key.

If you’re looking for more of an immersive experience and story this is the place for you. Might not be the one to go to if you’re just trying to speed run rooms.

We chatted a bit with the owner and he said he should hopefully have another room up in 2-3 months and we’re looking forward to trying that one out too. Highly recommend!

This escape room is incredible. It’s so unique, as if you’re playing a real life video game! It is evident that there was so much thought that went into the room & storyline. The owner, Jimmy, told my group we completed the story with an alternate ending & happily let us play the regular ending afterwards.
I 100% recommend this place, and I cannot wait for the other rooms to open!

We stopped by randomly and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in for the VR Escape room. Never did a VR escape room before, but it was so much fun!! The staff was so friendly, and helpful. It’s also very well priced! 10/10 highly recommend, and will definitely come back again!
