We visited KC Bison Ranch in Dahlonega and had an incredible experience. We specifically came to take a look at the bison. We met Christian and he was extremely nice and volunteered to take us on a tour of the ranch and actually took us in the pasture with the bison. Thank you Christian!

Worked with this venue several times as a live wedding painter and stationer— they have an incredible team of staff and I’ve watched firsthand how they bring the vision of their couples to life with positivity and diligence! One of my absolute favorite venues in the state of Georgia! 💜 And we can’t pass the opportunity to praise the INCREDIBLE landscape and property and the incredible views as well as the extensive accommodations to make sure every individual has a wonderful experience. We hosted our daughter’s wedding at Overlook at KC Bison Ranch on March 28, 2026, and it was truly the most wonderful experience. As the mother of the bride—and having hosted three weddings for our three daughters—I can honestly say this was the best experience we’ve had.

From the very beginning, Kim made us feel so welcome and was always kind, responsive, and helpful with any questions we had. Ashley was absolutely outstanding—she handled all the booking details seamlessly, provided excellent vendor recommendations, and made sure every piece came together perfectly. As the wedding approached, Kadie from Invited Events stepped in to coordinate seating, planning, and execution, and she ensured the entire day went off flawlessly.

The caterer, Yahoolah Creek, was amazing. The food was delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests—it truly stood out. Every detail of the event was so thoughtfully planned, from the getaway car to the late-night snacks, the photo booth, and the beautiful fireworks send-off.

What meant the most to me was how easy they made everything. All I had to do was show up and enjoy this special day with my daughter and our family. It was stress-free, seamless, and absolutely magical.

I love this venue and cannot recommend it enough. Planning a wedding here truly can be a wonderful experience.

KC Bison is the perfect place for your wedding!!! It was my dream wedding and we truly can't say enough good things about this venue.

Our wedding day was hands down the best day of our lives, and so much comes from the incredible KC Bison Team, (Ashley, Kim, Adam, Kadie, and Jordan) They all played such a huge roll in creating the most amazing day! They were all there day of making sure everything was taken care of!

Our guests are still talking about it today about how stunning the venue is. From the reception space to all the amazing views and of course can't forget the Bison!!!

If you're considering KC Bison for your wedding, all I can say is DO IT!!! We would choose this venue a thousand times over and are so grateful for the amazing memories we had here!

Choosing The Overlook at KC Bison Ranch was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we knew it was something special, but the actual wedding day somehow exceeded every expectation.

The setting is breathtaking in a way photos can’t capture. The views, the atmosphere, and the natural beauty of the property created the most stunning backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Our guests could not stop raving about how gorgeous and unique the venue was and how majestic the bison were!

But what truly sets KC Bison apart is the team behind it. Kim, Adam, Kadie, and Ashley went above and beyond at every single step. They were responsive, kind, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Their communication gave us total confidence leading up to the wedding, and on the day itself, everything ran smoothly thanks to their professionalism and intentionality. We truly felt cared for.
