David at ATX Golf Performance in Austin is an excellent swing coach. He’s patient, knowledgeable, and explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand (without making the swing feel overly complicated). He’s quick to identify my issue(s) and shares simple drills to work on that are helping improve my consistency and confidence. Would highly recommend David!

I’ve seen the most drastic change in my game since working with Martin hands down. Before working with him I’ve broken 80 once and since then I’ve shot under par twice.

He takes a very strategic approach to identifying the aspects of your swing causing the biggest issues and tackling them one by one which has helped to make key improvements rather than overwhelming you with countless mechanics all at once. The result has been repeatable improvement that I can build upon

Martin du Toit is an outstanding golf teacher and the ATX Golf Performance Studio has state of the art facilities. I appreciate his fact based instruction that focused on the problem at impact. I benefited the most most from the pressure and force plate analysis that clearly showed where my weight transfer was late during transition. Every swing is cataloged with Flight Scope data and two video angles. Every lesson has a video summary of what what was covered that is accessible from his app. I have the utmost respect for Martin as a former DP World Tour player he is an honorable person and I highly recommend him as a teacher.

Awesome facility! Professional set up with great coaches. David did my game evaluation and helped me a ton in just one session. Very detailed instruction with relatable advise. Every aspect of your game gets checked from driver all the way to putter. If you want to improve your game consistently, ATX is the place you need to be!

Martin listened to what challenges I face in my game and the walked through a series of swings and showed with the data, where the issues are coming from so I can better understand. For such a simple thing, the golf swing is incredibly complex and Martin and ATX Golf Performance break it down beautifully.

Martin is brilliant at unlocking my golf potential without over complicating the lesson. I leave every time with one strong improvement putting the pieces of the puzzle together one lesson at a time.

Martin is an incredible coach. I came in with the shanks and he completely fixed the basics of my swing and we grew from there. I continue to get better using what he’s taught me. Shaved off 15+ strokes.

Finishing up a package of lessons with Benjah and the difference in my swing is night and day. I'm striking the ball with greater confidence and distance and my joy for the game is only going up. I've mainly been a 90s golfer my whole life and never took lessons before. After taking these lessons and practicing at the range, I went and played my first full 18 and shot an 80. Can't wait to get out again and go lower!

My game had plateaued and not in a good way. I knew I had swing faults, but a periodic lesson here and there over the course of several years weren't sticking. I play the game once a week and though I was in the company of the small percentage of golfers who break 90, I was finding myself not having fun. I was stuck with a handicap average of 89 and index of over 15. Plus getting into my mid-fifties, I noticed my natural abilities starting to wane. Back in June of this year, I began the search to find a reputable place to make some changes. I had first looked at the Harvey Penick Academy, but they were full and their next lessons were out of state. Plus, I wanted to start rather quickly. ATX Performance was highly rated from the reviews, so I reached out. I had my assessment with Benjah Miller, and right away I knew I was going to get personalized instruction and not in a group setting. I decided to sigh up for 15 weekly lessons, which due to vacations and work schedules, I was not able to meet every week, but Benjah worked around my schedule. Without totally blowing up my swing, he had me focus each week on a small, but effective piece, and each lesson continued to build on that foundation. I appreciate that I don't feel rushed though the time does fly by, but if there is not an appointment after mine, I'm welcome to stay and continue to work on that day's plan. All lessons are videoed and sent to me to look at and enhance my practicing at home. As I am posting this, I am down to my last lesson (I can always sign up for more later) and will look to conduct the last meeting on the course. For me, I am more confident in my swing and instead of hoping to find the fairway on my tee shot, I am focused on where I expect the ball to go. My iron play has been the biggest improvement and Benjah was instrumental in helping me with chips and pitches. As of today, my index off of my last 20 rounds, which the first of these was only a month into the lessons, I am at a 9.7 and average of 85.6. Almost a full 5 strokes off where I was. Of my last 10 rounds at various courses around the state, I have a low of 79 and high of 89, with the other 8 rounds averaging 82. Golf is fun again and I know I still make some swing mistakes, but I have the tools and knowledge to do better.

I have just finished a group of lessons with Martin DuToit at ATX Golf Performance. I could not be happier. I have balance issues, mostly confidence-related, and was eager to get back on the course.

He gave me a couple of keys and his calm reassurance guided me as I became more comfortable taking a fuller swing. For the first time in over a year, I felt I could manage my game and get back to enjoying golf again. He is a true golf professional.

I will go back for ‘tune-ups’ when I need them.

Thank you Martin.

I had an amazing experience with Martin - His knowledge of golf swing mechanics and course management is exceptional. He helped me fix my swing at the root cause with actionable drills and also equipped me with an understanding of the golf swing as a whole so that I can adjust on my own. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to improve their game, high or low handicap. 5/5!!

I worked with Martin as a beginner golfer. His instruction was amazing and has helped me develop as a player. He has provided great tips and routines that I will continue to use in my training. His studio has everything you need. He was incredibly personable and I looked forward to working with him each week. If you are looking for someone who will not only help you improve but make you love the game, Martin is the guy.

Martin is an exceptional golf coach who has already helped me lower my index from 14 to 10 in just a couple of months. His ability to simplify the game while focusing on practical improvements is unmatched. I highly recommend booking a lesson with him if you're serious about shooting lower scores and enjoying the game more.

10/10 recommend Martin. Helped my swing improve almost immediately. He was very friendly and willing to help with whatever I needed work on. Each week he helped me adjust my grip/swing to the point where I could easily hit the ball well with all clubs. Before getting lessons I was barely able to Drive or hit my irons, afterwards I've improved my game by 10-20 strokes. Would definitely refer him to a friend. Each lesson has a recording so you can go back and listen to what was taught.

I've seen a few instructors over the years and Martin is by far the most helpful. He doesn’t overcomplicate things and provides simple but effective feedback with each session. The video recaps he provides are particularly helpful - revisiting them before going to the range on my own helps ensure I’m implementing what we discussed that week.

I look forward to continuing to work with him and couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Martin has drastically improved my game over the last 4 months. He has been a phenomenal coach and provided me with immense knowledge of my own game with a mixture of fantastic training tools, recorded sessions for easy playback and his deep understanding of the game of golf and golf swing mechanics.

I came to Martin slightly broken and inconsistent on the course. I didn’t feel like I needed a full overhaul but felt like I couldnt identify what i was doing wrong which was leading to my higher scores.

Martin was able to breakdown my challenges and provided me weekly simple ways of identifying those issues and fixing them. If you are at all serious about wanting to get better at golf, lower your scores, get better at practicing your game vs beating balls on a range you need a series of lessons with Martin. This investment was better than any club purchase ive ever made.

Martin is THE DOCTOR.

I came in as a 14 handicap and in 7 months got me down to an 8!

Few reasons why:
1) He has a balanced "feel" and "Mechanics" coaching style. Uses data, video etc but understands how much "feel" is needed in the game
2)Great communicator: A lot of this is paired with the "feel" aspect and is why he communicates so well.
3) He will understand you and your swing: Martin refines his feedback, communications and recommendations every time we meet. And it gets better and better. Why? Because he understands my swing, how I think and what I want out of my shot.

Like many golfers, I hadn’t had any formal instruction in YEARS. I was at a point in my game recently where I decided it was time to seek help in order to get better-there’s really only so much you can do on your own…watching YouTube and Instagram videos will send you spiraling eventually and leave you more frustrated than when you started. I booked a game evaluation with Martin at ATX Golf Performance and have been seeing him consistently for the past few months. What a game changer!!! With his help, I’ve gone from shooting mid-high 80s with very inconsistent ball striking to breaking 80 and learning how to fine-tune my shotmaking and mental skills. Really can’t say enough good things about Martin’s coaching-he’s very patient and can come up with different ways to convey a swing thought or feel to correct bad habits that have been developed and cemented over many years. He has a very nice indoor facility with a FlightScope launch monitor and Titleist RCT balls (for all you nerds out there like me) with great swing cameras too—Martin also uses an app where he sends your lesson recaps and can communicate back and forth if you’re out on the range or course to send feedback on swing videos and such. If you’re on the fence at all about booking—do it! You won’t regret it.

Martin is a top tier golf coach. He is very knowledgeable about the sport of golf and the mechanics of the golf swing.

He communicates effectively and focuses on making only a few small/impactful adjustments to your swing at a time and building up from there/introducing new adjustments as needed.

I’ve enjoyed my time with Martin and suggest him to anyone looking to improve their golf game.

Martin helped me a ton with my game and my technique. Went from never being able to break 100 to consistently shooting under 90 in about a month and a half.

The way he explains movements are very intuitive and easy to understand. Would recommend him for anyone trying to fast-track their performance

Martin is great! I have been working with him for several months now and have seen some great progress in reaching my goals. He doesn't overcomplicate things and has a great ability to pivot from different teaching techniques to get a feel that works best for me. I would recommend him to anyone, and plan on continuing with him myself.

My experience with Martin was excellent. Rather than try to change everything at once, he worked with my swing one issue at a time, providing simple, easy to understand feedback. His facility is great...especially all the bands/equipment that allow one to truly feel what your body should do during a swing. My series of 12-15 lessons really helped me understand the correct technique to hitting the golf ball consistently, allowing me to make adjustments when things go off the rails.
