My family moved to Bear Lake BC in 1989. I was pregant at the time. I found a Dr taking new patients. Dr. O'Malley. At that time I was suffering from depression and SADS, along with my pregnancy. He explained everything what was going on. He took the time to make sure I understood when I was hesitant about taking anti depressants. When he diagnosed me with SADS, he knew that I couldn't afford the light box, he took the time and called a collegue at UBC and instructed me how to build one. It worked. I wanted to have my tubes tied after my second pregnancy. He argued with me, I was 25. My son was breach and I had complications with my first child. I will never forget him saying you never know what may happen, you may meeti someone else, a child may die....The child Dr. O'Malley delivered at Prince George hospital on JUly 5, 1989, named Kyle died at the age of 7. He was kille dEaster weekend by a freak accident. Nevertheless, Dr. O'Malley I will never find another Dr like you. Thank you for your services.
