Wonderful experience, first time. Thorough checkin, with full explanation of services and prices. Macie was the groomer. She was great with my active AussieDoodleCollie mix. Best cut and nails I have had in his 4 years. Highly recommend Petco Citrus Heights. Dog grooming is expensive and I have been going to Pet ……. Petco has outstanding grooming and lower prices. Thank you Macie, we would love to return to your superlative services. Second visit went just as well, I really enjoyed getting honest feedback on Dillon’s behavior well in the salon. Great Grooming job.

I go to the Petco on Greenback. Macie is the groomer. I have a 9 month Shih Tzu. Macie does a great job. She is very pleasant to work with

Do not book for grooming services here. I received my dog back today and was extremely unhappy with the outcome. My dog was booked for a regular Bath & Haircut appointment, it includes everything in the screenshot, total is $61. 1 also PAY for a monthly membership, bringing my total down to $48 for the grooming services.
Upon check in and I gave them the details of what I wanted, how I wanted my dog cut and what I wanted done, "teddy bear" style. The groomer then asked if I wanted my dogs nails trimmed he specifically said "nails cut", I said yes as it's included in the bath and groom. See photo. When I picked up my dog, my dog was SHAVED down. I can see the color of her flesh on her top of her ears. The groomers were all gone and it was a regular store clerk who gave me dog and checked me out. I was so upset with how my dog looked and decided I would call the to file a complaint when I got home. Then they charged me $78 for the groom and EXTRA nail services that should've been included. I thought they said $48 and I didn't realize until I actually looked at my receipt when I got home. We immediately called to complain and spoken to the store manager who apparently was the person who checked out our dog and she didn't give us the grooming folder with notes, you receive after the service. When we actually spoke to her on the phone she showed no care whatsoever for me being upset with the services. She didn't even apologize or was sympathetic, just said that it's what was signed off for the dog. I have no issue paying for a service I receive, but not for being charged more for nail trim and being overcharged. I have taken previous dogs to Petco, every dog I've have never complained, but the disregard and disinterest of the store manager made me cancel my membership.

Krys was incredible. My Goldendoodle puppy warmed up to her immediately, and came back looking absolutely perfect. I originally booked at this location because the one closer to home didn’t have availability, but I may end up coming back just for Krys!
