It also works really well with scratching from poison ivy, bug bites that itch and I personally take it when I have one of those headaches that is a lot like a migraine. Benadryl is one of those that go to medicines for more than just normal allergy. This product I would definitely recommend.

Benadryl does the job for me, and I will highly recommend it to everyone. I have been using it for years and it is a nice product. I will continue to use it for some of the other items on the market. For me, it does the job well.

For seasonal allergies, they used Benadryl and were very happy with the outcome. Have tried Claritin but it seems that Benadryl works better for me in the Central United States. Keep a supply on hand , especially during the allergy season in spring and winter. Helps with the itchy eyes and sneezing constantly during spring time.

We were very disappointed with Dr. Gerstner. We first saw him three years ago when my son's allergy symptoms first popped up; he did *one* scratch test, told us to treat with Benadryll, and considered the matter closed. Benadryll soon proved completely ineffective as my son's symptoms grew steadily worse over the course of the next two years. We were again referred to Dr. Gerstner, who repeated the *exact same* scratch test and then diagnosed him with an "idiopathic" condition and prescribed medication which did not control them. My son suffered daily hives for three years all because of a simple allergy that could've been diagnosed with proper testing. Arrogance and condescension have no place in the doctor's office!
