Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Berbari was a hematologist oncologist at Southern Illinois Hospital in Carterville, Ill., which is part of the Siteman Cancer Network that is led by Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St Louis. Dr. Berbari earned his medical degree at the University of Balamand Faculty of Medicine and Medical Sciences in Lebanon. He completed an internal medicine residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai/Englewood Medical Center in Englewood, N.J., and served as chief fellow during a hematology/medical oncology fellowship at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans. Dr. Berbari is a clinical investigator in the Clinical Therapy Evaluation Program and a member of several professional organizations.
