While Dr. Kataria already had a deep interest in science and math, he would go on to volunteer at hospitals in his New Jersey hometown during high school and later work as a volunteer emergency medical technician. His formal education included earning two bachelor’s and a master’s degree in addition to his Doctor of Medicine degree specializing in internal medicine. During his residency, Dr. Kataria developed a significant passion for teaching residents and medical students. His grandfather would have been proud.
