This company does not conduct detailed work history background checks on its own "Career Coaches". This depth of deception is not fair to neurodivergent customers, as it’s encouraging a practice of deceiving both them and employers. It is intentionally misleading.
For example... this company has recently hired a “Career Coach” who is advertising himself as “Neurodivergent” and falsely represented himself as a “Career Coach” on his OWN LinkedIn Profile. What's even more interesting is that this “Career Coach” has got LinkedIn Recommendations only from September 2024 to May 2025 (less than one year) and all of them are about his experience as a SALESMAN or ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE... and the recommendations are mostly from just 3 companies he worked at over the past 3 years. ANYONE can falsify LinkedIn Recommendations and References or ask former peers or managers they are FRIENDS with to lie on their behalf.
Additionally, when hiring “Neurodivergent” staff members to help customers, how are you ensuring that there are no comorbid disorders at play that do not comply with coaching ethics and governance — such as Psychopathy and Cluster B Personality Disorders?
Without a clear understanding of clinical psychology, hiring just about ANYONE who uses “Neurodivergent” as a marketing label with an inaccurate job titling, can be harmful to the neurodivergent community.

Jess is an incredible coach and teacher who in a short time has made a significant impact on my life. I am a nonprofit executive who came to Jess for help in my professional and personal life. My ADHD has long given me struggles with task management, focus and organization and my life often felt out of control. Jess helped me with guidance and tools to make more effective use of my time and make my days more productive and less frantic. She is an ace in so many important areas, including executive functioning, career development, networking, LinkedIn, resume building and more. If you're looking to take your career and your life to the next level, Jess can help you find the power in yourself to get there.

My daughter has ADHD. She has struggled to keep a job, although she has a college degree, especially in this current market. She started working with Jess recently and her self motivation, self esteem, and self compassion have improved!! Jess has been such a great inspiration for her. Jess has given her interview strategies, helped her with an improved resume, and Linked in profile. I look forward to see where Jess takes my daughter on her life journey.

Essential service... the world of jobhunting and professional success relies on so many skills beyond "being good at the job" which may be difficult for people like myself (ADHD/Autism) to engage with enthusiastically and effectively.
I got some great coaching, and it has helped me clean up some big mistakes I was making in interviews, and gave me a framework for how to keep working on those skills. Plus, my new resume looks awesome.
Definitely worth trying out, especially if you are struggling and can't figure out why.

In 2018, I became a Call Firefighter/EMT. I had worked very hard to finish EMT school and become Fire 1 and 2 certified. This was a start to a challenging journey. After about a year, I found that I wanted to become a Full time Firefighter/EMT. I had found
my passion for a career. So I started to interviewed.
After years of interviews and rejection, my journey took a positive turn and I started working with Jess Jarmo. Jess is a career coach that has a unique understanding of individuals with different learning disabilities. We discussed different tactics that are used for interviewing and different ways to reach out to Chief’s and Officer’s. Ultimately, Jess was able to take my passion for this career and find different ways to present it. She equipped me with robust interview skills, teaching me how to effectively communicate my strengths and handle challenging questions with confidence. She fostered a safe and understanding coaching environment, making me feel genuinely supported and appreciated.
Jess is more than just a coach. She has got this amazing way of making you feel heard and valued. Her encouragement and tips, all geared towards my unique way of thinking, really upped my confidence. Because of her, I didn't just get any firefighter job. I found the perfect fit, one that totally matches my cultural values and I can't thank her enough for turning this chapter in my life into a success story.
