What a great find!! I had originally wanted shaved ice, but stumbled upon this place and glad I did. After a brief explanation from the friendly cashier Jamie, I was sold! All locally sourced fruits with dairy and non-dairy ice cream options! I’ll never eat shaved ice again! My Coconut Gelato mixed perfectly with citrus/strawberry, giving me creamy, tart and sweet in every bite!!! Hopefully they’ll be packaging this and selling at local markets soon! But for now! It’s a must stop for anyone visiting Kona!

This place is so delicious. The owner was so kind and helpful in explaining the process. They support local farmers with delicious fruit and healthy ice cream mixed….almost like a healthy McFlurry. Highly recommend🥰

Fresh and tasty ice cream break: you get to pick the ice cream base and then which fresh fruit to mix in - it’s a cool machine! Everything is grown and made on the island.

I love that this ice cream that’s not too sweet - for myself and my kids! This will be our go to spot when we go to the beach across the street.

Really fun way to do ice cream. Pick your locally grown fruit and it gets mixed in real time with locally sourced dairy to form up a truly unique ice cream. Kiddos and adults loved it.

I had a mango one. It was unlike any other ice cream I've had: very tasty with a nice creamy texture. I could certainly feel that this is in the gourmet category and well-worth the cost. I'd recommend Homegrown Cone to anyone who wants a high-quality treat in Kona, Hawaii.
