Extremely Disappointing Experience

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Graber Outdoors in Wichita, Kansas. For a fence that cost approximately $18.097.55 plus deposit, I expected much better workmanship, communication, and customer service.

I signed my original contract on April 25, 2026, and my fence was not installed until July 21. Throughout the process, there were repeated delays, poor communication, and very little follow-through. I frequently had to reach out myself just to find out what was going on.

Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop once the fence was installed. The double gates are misaligned with a noticeable gap, the bottom locking mechanism was not installed as expected, the single gate is difficult to operate and presents a potential pinching hazard, and there are loose components and concerns about the stability and depth of certain posts. The removal of my old fencing was also not fully completed as expected.

A work order for an inspection was created on August 24. It is now October 19, and not a single issue has been corrected. No one has returned to fix the problems, and I have received no meaningful communication about a resolution. Meanwhile, my customer portal shows the project as completed and paid in full. I’ve looked at the portal is say scheduled, but for when?

What frustrates me the most is that I have given this company months to make things right. I have been patient and allowed plenty of time for them to address these concerns, but the lack of accountability and follow-through has been incredibly disappointing.

At this point, I have lost confidence in the Wichita location and am requesting that someone from corporate step in to inspect and correct the installation. I am also requesting a partial refund given the delays, workmanship concerns, and overall experience.

For the amount of money I spent, I should not have to chase a company for months to get the quality of work and service I paid for.

I would not recommend Graber Outdoors based on my experience. I sincerely hope corporate takes these concerns seriously and makes things right.

STAY AWAY!! The list is long but here are a few of the issues encountered, the railing was bowed over 11/2 inches, angle cuts were not close to joining in several places, an 8 inch gap that would not pass code and ZERO clean up. They pay no attention to detail. It took them coming back 3 times and taking $500 off to make it acceptable, only because we demanded the project manager come out to actually do an inspect with us. We appreciated the money off however it should have never gotten to this point! They rushed through the last 2 days due to taking 2-hour lunches daily and generally working 9:00-4:00. We called the Project manager on several different occasions only to receive a return call once, a week later. The receptionist Alyssa, is rudest most unprofessional person who should not be dealing with the public in our opinion. Don’t expect ANY communication of any kind until they call you for the end payment, then they will turn it into harassment. Don’t waste your time, go elsewhere!

Graber did a nice job with our fence project. We had a couple of special requests that were important for us, and the team did a great job delivering a nicely done product. Was very important to us that we chose a local business with great customer reviews.

I can't say enough about this company. They replaced my dilapidated 105 year old front porch in 3 days, start to finish. I love the Trex decking material they used, but the real gem is the structure itself. They used a new diamond pier system to support the posts and substructure. Very innovative design, very sturdy. Calvin was great to work with on the initial order and design, Rob stayed on top of everything, coming out to deliver parts and keep me updated and informed of the progress. I spoke on the phone and by text with Amber coordinating scheduling and timelines, as well as some of the financing details, and she was a pleasure to speak with. The tear off crew and build crew were awesome. I didn't get their names, but these guys worked their tails off, putting in some very late hours to get the job done. They obviously enjoy their work, and their attention to detail was fantastic. I love my new porch, and based on the design and materials used, it should last another 105 years. I highly recommend them for your next deck, porch, or fence build. Thank you all so much!

The build team from Graber Outdoors lead by John, just completed our new deck. Although it was a small project at 12 X12, it turned out great! They completed the deck in only 4 days from first arrival to clean up and leaving. The guys were great to work with and kept us informed about the process. Any questions we had were quickly and completely answered. My wife and I are very pleased with it and are looking forward to a lot of time enjoying it. Thanks Graber Outdoors for the beautiful deck!
