I have had 6 laser hair removal sessions and just had a facial. Yomara is so kind! It is very easy to schedule and she is so responsive and flexible when I need to reschedule.
I am so impressed with my laser hair removal treatments! I started going just for lower legs but have since added other body areas because I've seen such a huge difference. I've gone from shaving daily to weekly (and barely need to at all). My hair is 90% gone already which is so amazing now that it is summertime! The services are also far more affordable than other places I looked into. I also had a facial today and it was a great service. I highly recommend Starbella (and specifically Yomara)! I only have positive things to say about it! And their spa is really cute too.

I had the sweetest experience at Starbella today getting Ultraformer MPT 💕 I had been searching for an up-to-date Ultraformer MPT treatment in Massachusetts, and Starbella was the only place I found offering it, so I was super excited to finally book.

The girl who did my treatment was so kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. She explained everything, was very gentle, and made the experience feel relaxing and easy. You can tell she really cares and wants you to have a good experience. ✨

I purchased a package of 10 post-op lymphatic massages at Starbella and saw Nicole consistently after my Lipo 360/Skinny BBL. The med spa is nice, but my experience with Nicole was full of red flags. I stayed neutral and respectful the entire time despite her attitude, but her comments and overall demeanor were inappropriate and unprofessional—and it ultimately wasn’t worth the $1,300+ I paid.

The biggest issue was her faja guidance. She repeatedly pressured me to keep sizing down because I’m “petite,” insisting I should go from a medium to an XS. The XS was painfully tight and didn’t fit—I had to return it. My surgeon confirmed you cannot force de-swelling with aggressive compression; the goal is proper fit, and once you’re in the correct size (for me, a small), you can stay in that size. Nicole dismissed my surgeon’s guidance like her opinion mattered more.

As sessions went on, she became passively judgmental and arrogant and made unsolicited comments that had nothing to do with lymphatic recovery. She brought up my breast augmentation, pointed out that my right breast sits higher than the other, and then said, “I just see bodies differently.” I came for post-op recovery—not commentary on my past procedures on my body.

She also criticized my BBL surgeon and my incisions, saying my incisions had “too many knots” and implying I’m “going to scar,” even claiming my surgeon stitched where my drain was (not true—my drain site closed on its own). She asked my surgeon’s age, and when I said he’s in his 60s she shook her head and said, “That’s why.” Extremely unprofessional considering he’s double board-certified with 30+ years of experience.

Sessions were hard to relax and decompress through because she constantly interrupted asking if I could “feel the fluid draining” / “feel the ultrasound,” and the service felt inconsistent (sometimes hands-on, sometimes mostly ultrasound). She also blamed coworkers for scheduling issues and told me to text her directly because “the other girls always make mistakes.”

One last weird moment: my boyfriend quietly sat in the room during a session, and mid-massage Nicole said, “Can we all talk? It’s so quiet.” This is a post-op recovery massage, not a social hangout.

To be fair, Starbella’s space is nice, and my first visit with another licensed esthetician (Yomara) was great. However, I would not recommend Nicole. I can’t speak for how she is with other clients, but over time it felt like she got too comfortable with me—possibly because we’re close in age—and I ended up seeing a very unprofessional side of her.

I decided not to continue massages with Nicole and have since switched to a different med spa, where I’ve been seeing a licensed esthetician with 25+ years of post-op experience. The difference has truly been night and day—she’s professional, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and consistent, and I can actually close my eyes and relax during my sessions. She combines ultrasound with hands-on lymphatic drainage in every appointment, and I feel a much bigger difference after each session compared to my experience with Nicole. She also confirmed my incisions are healing and fading perfectly, and said my surgeon did an amazing job with my skinny BBL.

The spa is clean and the staff is friendly. By no means do I find myself making this review to throw any shade. However Ive been here twice now and was a pinch disappointed. The hour massage was okay, but ended with 10 minutes of a theragun like therapy where my back was just compressed by a massage gun or tool that felt okay, but, it felt more like filler time.
I came back for a facial and was asked if I want a regular or deep facial. I emphasized I was unhappy with the blackheads on my nose and wanted extraction. Deep extraction was 20 dollars more. The experience was good, and I enjoyed the facial. However vibration method was used to extract my nose and pores and when finished I got up, looked in the mirror, and didn't notice a lot of improvement. I quickly pinched my nose hard in a few spots and puss/zit stuff popped out. Not a lot, but, it was clear maybe only the top half of my pores were cleaned? The tech said oh the rest will come out with more facials. I spent well over 100 dollars, well over with tip. And this was not anywhere near my expectations.

If I got a gift certificate to come back I wouldn't hesitate. It's a nice spa. But the area is over saturated with options so I will keep looking for a better experience.

My nurse Gi Bueno was honest with the treatment I required. I got my lips done by her and also Botox. She explained all potential side effects, talked me through my options and we agreed a plan.
