This is Memphis' best. The event took place in the last weekend of June and the City took care of all of the mosquitoes and other pest that could've ruined the whole experience. KUDOS Memphis!!! 💯
On the other hand these kids are amazing!!! 🤩🤩🤩

The LEGENDARY Overton Park Shell! Where Elvis Presley had his very first paid performance! Hands down my absolute favorite amphitheater in all of Memphis. I had the great pleasure of performing their recently with Da MTown Band and we had such a nice time. Fantastic sound engineers and stagehands to help us get setup and soundcheck. Everybody on staff is soooo friendly and very accommodating to the artists!
If you're going for a show, bring your lawn chairs or blankets and come sit out on the lawn to enjoy some groovy music and great cuisine from local food vendors.
There is a wonderful Summer / Fall Concert Series that they host. Always free admission and lots of fun for the whole family!
If you're in Memphis, GO SEE THE SHELL!! 🎶
It's an absolute treasure and a well kept piece of American Music History!

My husband and I had a great time at Overton Park Shell seeing the legendary Bobby Rush! Even better the concert was free. 🎶 The atmosphere was fun, safe, and relaxed with everyone enjoying themselves. Such an amazing experience we’ll definitely be back!

This place is great! First time here. Was invited to an outing from the company that sponsored this summer concert series. The venue is beautiful, the parking is well organized, and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves. The sound and video quality were high. For free concerts, this was a great event! I highly recommend coming out to this place.

Marvelous old outdoor amphitheater in Overton Park is a great place to watch a concert. Outdoors, so it may be hot during the summer. But when the sun starts to set the trees provide shade. There are food trucks and restrooms. It can be crowded, so you may want to arrive early. Parking is difficult, and you may only find a place on the streets in the park. Bring your own lawn chairs, picnic chairs, and blankets. Prepare to wait when the concert is over to exit the park.
