The challenge is knowing what resources are out there and using that knowledge to individualize treatment and provide comprehensive care. Thattes what our goal is at Mercy: to provide personalized care geared to the patient's needs. When I interviewed at Mercy, I was struck by their value of leaving no patient behind. There's a lot of truth in that approach, and I see it lived out every day here at all levels. The administration, the staff, the physicians are all dedicated to providing the best care at home to all patients, both those at home and in the hospital.
