We are from out of town but visit occasionally to see family. This spot has become a go-to for us, as well as another location called The Spot Coffee, which uses CxT coffee beans. Since we are not local, we were thrilled to see we could order their coffee online and have it shipped to us.
We are currently exploring the different flavors they offer, and we have not been disappointed. I really appreciate that they provide various grind sizes and a good selection of bag sizes, including a bundle deal. The flavors are incredibly fresh — we’ve been long-time Caribou Coffee fans, but we won’t be going back. Not only that, but we’ve noticed we feel less groggy, and if we skip a day or two, we don’t experience typical caffeine withdrawal.
Lastly, the customer service we received recently was outstanding. They were quick to respond and found a solution when we only received 2 out of the 3 bags we ordered. I was happy to take store credit knowing we would use it anyway, but instead, they shipped the missing bag — and to our surprise, they included an additional free bag. It is very refreshing seeing good quality products as well as customer service. Thank you!

I visited CxT Toasting Company for the first time this week after hearing so much about it and seeing how popular it is. It definitely lived up to the hype in terms of traffic — it was quite busy when I arrived. There wasn’t much seating available, and there was a lot going on, from business meetings and people working on laptops to louder group conversations, which honestly made it feel a bit hectic.
I felt rushed to order (being my first time) so I tried the iced coconut cookie butter latte, it was okay. I hate to say this but the most memorable part was the lid popping off right when I got in the car and then it wouldn't stay on. It spilled all over my pants. That itself was enough to made me not so eager to return. However, the coffee did taste very fresh.
I really enjoyed the overall layout and design of the shop. The space felt rustic and artsy, and it’s undeniably a cute coffee shop with a lot of character. There is also a really cute outside area and I can already tell that it will be very popluar when the weather gets nicer! While it may not be my go-to spot, I can see why it’s popular and appreciate the vibe they’ve created. ☕️ 💛

Best coffee around. Their lattes arent watered down and have, in my opinion, the best ratio. I go out of my way on work days to get their coffee instead of going somewhere closer. They're always fast and efficient AND they have gluten free scones. Their outdoor seating is nice during the summertime and fall for chatting. Love this place so much ❤️

I have no idea why, but this place has significantly gone down hill. I use to tell people this was the best coffee spot in our area, and now it’s one of the worst. The past three times I have been here, my coffee, late, or cappuccino when ordered hot, has turned cold within minutes. The espresso is bitter and not enjoyable to drink. The prices on the board do not reflect the actual prices (update your signage) and when baristas are asked what the actual price is they don’t know until they ring you up. Over trying to give them more chances.

Super solid espresso beans, roasting, which produced an excellent, coffee-forward cappuccino. Nice outside seating. Comfy chairs/couches. Wish they had the ability to heat up the ham & cheese. Otherwise, great to see a good coffee place hang around in Peoria for a while. Much needed.

Delicious cold brew and nitro. Bought a bag of freshly roasted coffee to take home as well. It was quite full on a Friday afternoon which speaks to how good the coffee is. Nice space to relax as well.

Great place to grab a cup of coffee. Lots of variety but not a overstimulating complicated menu. Lots of space to hang out. Noisy with all of the “doors” closed, it’s winter, but could still carry on a conversation. Spacious outdoor space for warmer weather. It was busy, but also 10a on a Saturday. Even with the crowd they moved the orders without delay.

CXT Coffee in Peoria is hands-down one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever visited! From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a vibe that’s both cool and welcoming—it’s the perfect mix of trendy and cozy. The atmosphere invites you to sit down, relax, and stay a while, whether you're catching up with friends, working, or just enjoying some "me" time. I live in Phoenix but visit family a few times a year and I think I go here multiple times while I'm visiting.

As for the coffee, their espresso drinks are out of this world! I had a cappuccino, and it was actually really good—smooth, rich, and balanced just right. You can tell the baristas here are truly skilled and passionate about their craft. They don’t just make coffee; they make an experience.

If you’re in Peoria and love great coffee and good vibes, CXT Coffee is a must-visit. I can’t wait to go back!

Cozy and friendly environment. The staff was very welcoming and engaged in pleasant small talk. It was clear that many customers were regulars, as the staff had friendly quips with everyone, showing how much they care and the close-knit vibe of the place. A staff member even recommended a drink for me to try, and I loved it! The coffee was excellent, and this spot is perfect for a first date. I've already told several friends how impressed I was with this place. Great job, everyone!

Absolutely the best cappuccino I've ever experienced! The espresso was bright and deeply flavorful, and it was topped with steamed milk that was creamier than I thought was possible!!! I can't wait to go back for another, and to try other drinks! Also, the staff was exceedingly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. A truly enjoyable experience overall!
