Our family had a terrible experience with this company. They raised the job cost significantly after giving us what they said would be a high-end estimate for clearing everything out of the house. Their explanation was that they simply underestimated the amount of work involved. They also said our family would realize a price break because two family members worked in the house for many hours after the estimate was given to us. No break was given and we received a follow-up bill because of “additional work not built into the estimate.” This company is not to be trusted! Kevin Downey

Do not hire these criminals. They are liars and thieves. I called them after my basement flooded and to be fair they did come quickly and did a fairly good job. Their employee was very professional and friendly. However the problem comes with their business office. For 3 days straight I fought with them several times a day just to get a straight answer on how much it would cost, an answer I never even got close to getting an answer to. The only price that was ever discussed was that their carpet cleaning runs around .30/sq ft and that their water mitigation price should be similar. They also insisted on leaving about a dozen fans overnight for 3 days without ever telling me the price per fan but assuring me it wouldn't be too much. After the work was done I finally got the answer. They charged me almost 1 dollar per sq ft, which is over 3 times what they told me it would be, and the fans were 50-100 PER FAN per night. A simple water extraction that took about an hour ended up costing me THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS! When i finally got in touch with someone in the business office allmost 5 days after the original call to try and discuss this discrepancy with them and try to work it out he laughed at me and told me to pay or they would see me in court. They refused to budge an inch on the price and were beyond rude and insufferable. This should be illegal and hambly and sons owners should be in jail! This is nothing but fraud and thievery! DO NOT CALL THESE GUYS FOR ANYTHING!

We have been using Hambly & Sons, aka Dream Steam, for years. Have always had great technicians who did excellent in cleaning our carpets. Never any bad services or isses.

This is our first time using Hambly and Sons and we're very happy with the experience. The carpet looks great! Patrick, Michael and Jackson were professional, friendly and easy to communicate with. Scheduling was easy, including adding on the dryer vent at the last minute.
