About two weeks ago, I requested a refund for a test that I have not yet taken and that is scheduled for August.
I received a confirmation message stating that I would receive my refund within 7 to 11 business days. However, I still have not received any updates!!!!
I have tried following up several times without any response. I have also tried calling, but it is extremely difficult to get someone on the phone. I have sent emails as well, but I have not received any replies.
The only response I received was a message on WhatsApp confirming that my refund would be processed. To this day, I still have not seen the money credited back to my account.

Change your mind now. If you are planning to take Test here. I recently took my IELTS test at this centre and had a concerning experience during the Speaking section.
During the test, I felt that the examiner interrupted me multiple times while I was answering, especially in Part 2 and Part 3. This made it difficult for me to fully express my ideas and maintain fluency. As a result, I don’t believe my performance was reflected accurately in my final score.
What makes this more frustrating is that I have consistently scored higher in Speaking (around 7.5) in my previous attempts, so this result was unexpected. I also requested a re-evaluation, but the score remained unchanged.
I understand that IELTS follows strict standards, but I would advise future test takers to be prepared for interruptions and stay composed even if the flow is disrupted.
I hope the centre reviews examiner conduct and ensures a more consistent experience for all candidates.

Very disappointing experience with Xyna International School IELTS test centre.
I had booked my IELTS test intending to take General Training, but when I arrived at the test centre I was told my registration was showing Academic instead. I raised this issue with the staff immediately upon arrival and politely asked if the module could be changed or if I could transfer the test to the correct one.
Instead of trying to help or offering any reasonable solution, the staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. My concern was not taken seriously and I felt pressured to proceed with the exam even though I clearly explained that it was not the module I needed.
A situation like this should be handled with understanding and professionalism. Booking mistakes can happen, and test centres should at least try to assist candidates or guide them properly. Unfortunately, the attitude of the staff made the experience even worse.
For an international testing centre handling important exams like IELTS, the level of customer service I experienced was very disappointing. I hope management looks into this and improves how candidates are treated in the future.

Very disappointing experience. The male staff member at the reception was quite rude and unhelpful. A basic level of courtesy and professionalism is expected, but unfortunately that was missing.

0 stars if possible. The test room was extremely small with around 10 candidates writing at the same time, which made it very uncomfortable and distracting. The headphones were poor quality and not soundproof, causing a lot of disturbance during the speaking test.
The staff member responsible for providing extra notepaper was sitting facing away and was not attentive. One candidate had already informed them beforehand that they would need extra paper due to large handwriting, yet despite raising their hand multiple times during the listening test, no one responded.
Overall, the environment was not suitable for such an important exam, and the lack of attentiveness added unnecessary stress.

I honestly don’t know how Xyna School is still running with the kind of service they provide. The entire experience—from booking to receiving the test results—was nothing but frustration.
The staff seemed completely disorganized, unprofessional, and totally unbothered by the fact that people rely on them for accurate and timely results. Every step felt like pulling teeth. No clear instructions, no proper communication, and every time I asked for clarification, I got different answers from different people.
The test process itself was even worse. It felt rushed, chaotic, and far from systematic. It didn’t feel like they followed any standard procedure. And when the results finally came, the formatting, explanation, and overall clarity were so poor that even the staff seemed confused when I asked questions about them.
They even canceled my scheduled exam and told me to come Vaughan from Brampton which is an hour drive for me. I never had this kind of experience while taking the ielts before. Plus, i always score least 7 bands in speaking and this test centre gave me only 6 which never happened to me before i was so shocked and then i read reviews from other people and got to know that this test centre is worse to take take exam.
The environment lacked transparency, accountability, and basic customer service. If you value your time, your money, or your peace of mind, I strongly recommend choosing literally any other institution. This was easily one of the most frustrating and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had

One of the worst experiences of my life ever.
Completely disappointing, stressful, and unacceptable.
I paid extra $200 in total for my IELTS result, and after all that, I was told “it’s not our responsibility.” No email, no WhatsApp, no text, no call—zero communication about my TRF.
When I visited the Xyna (British Council) office, the staff was rude, careless, and completely unwilling to listen. They showed no concern for students’ urgency or time.
Here’s the real problem: students from far locations are being unnecessarily punished.
My exam center was Kitchener, near my place, but my TRF pickup was in Vaughan, 7–8 hours of travel away! This wasted my time, money, and energy for no reason.
Why is the TRF not uploaded to the student login on the website, where students already have access? This would make the process easy, fair, and efficient, but instead, students are forced to travel long distances for no reason at all.
Being told “it’s not our responsibility” after spending $200 and going through all this is beyond frustrating—it’s completely disrespectful.
I strongly advise everyone: do NOT go to this center if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. This is poor service at its worst.

I recently appeared for the CELPIP exam, and during the speaking section, a staff member kept standing behind me. I even gave them a look to indicate that I was getting disturbed, but they didn’t move. I had to focus on the exam, so I couldn’t say anything at the time, but I got very nervous and couldn’t perform well. Now, because of that, I’ll have to take the exam again, which is really frustrating.

Extremely disappointed and worst experience ever I had from you guys. Not answering phone calls, not replying my emails. Literally called you 100 times, about my refund there were no answers, It has been over 2 months there was no response. Now, I will have to take strict actions against your company. Such a unprofessional place . They are running institute and they don’t know how to be professional. On my speaking day they send someone else at my place because they have some urgent work . Moreover , on the test day they did not have erasers and sharpers . When students were asking form them for erasers they were like we don’t have . Staff did not know about sheet instructions. There was one teacher during the whole test she was continuously speaking . They made you guys sit for TRF for one hour .
Staff is literally laughing louldy . They created a environment here like a Indian government school.

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness from your team. Despite multiple attempts to get in touch, I have received no response to my calls. It is incredibly frustrating and inconvenient to be left without any form of communication or assistance.
To make matters worse, I was informed that in order to obtain a TRF , I either need to travel all the way to Vaughn or pay an additional $60. This is completely unreasonable, especially considering that this issue stems from a lack of proper support on your end.
I expected a much higher level of professionalism and accountability. I sincerely hope that steps are taken to address this lack of communication and to provide a more accessible and efficient process for students who are already dealing with enough stress.

Took my IELTS exam here. Calls are not answered by the institute. So it's not possible to reach them inspite of multiple attempts. They give you a three hour timeframe to collect your IELTS result on a specific day after which they'll mail it to your address. Theu don't take guarantee of it being delivered. Collecting it on the same day is an unrealistic requirement. They ask you to pay extra if you want it mailed ( tho I don't think it's a specific requirement for just this cente).

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I like that the groups are not too big.
I only have one complaint: At the end of my test, I was the last one in the room, and the person waiting for me decided it was a good idea to look directly at me. I could see him in my screen's reflection and feel the pressure to finish as soon as possible because he seemed rushed (or at least that's how it felt). I had to call him out in the middle of my speaking answer because he became a big distraction. So, my last answer went all wrong because of that. Please train the staff to respect the examinees' space until the very last second of their test.

XYNA International, charged $60 for express shipping of TRF and I received the TRF by regular mail. After making the payment, it’s been 5 working days and no tracking ID for the express shipping was shared with me. Now they emailed that they won’t refund the shipping fee. It’s a scam in clear words. I won’t recommend anyone to book test on any XYNA locations.

I recently had the pleasure of taking the IELTS exam at Xyna International, vaughan and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.
The test center itself is well-maintained, and provides a comfortable, quiet environment ideal for taking such an important exam. What truly stood out, however, was the professionalism and kindness of the staff. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcomed and at ease. They were not only efficient but also very supportive, answering all of my questions with patience and clarity.
The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the exam process and provided clear instructions, making the entire procedure smooth and stress-free. They ensured that I was well-prepared and informed about what to expect at each stage of the exam.

Test was good but the customer service and result delivery very very poor. I don't recommend anyone giving pen paper based test with Xyna. It's been a month and I still haven't gotten my TRF my friend got it in a day because he paid 60 dollars. They said that it will be dispatched through canada post regular delivery and the regular delivery takes only 7 days maximum. I asked them if I can come in person to get it I can even pay extra and they said I have to email them first pay the fee and then they will send me another email asking to drop in. I mailed them 2 days ago and still waiting for their reply. Terrible terrible experience, they have PDFs of the TRF that they can give directly if we have to go in person but I don't know how their policies work and if we have to do the email procedure atleast reply on time. I have to apply for my work permit and I am still waiting on this TRF. I am really sorry for everyone like me who have suffered 🙏🏻

I am so glad i booked my IELTS at this place. I had to give a test urgently and managed to book with them on 24th Dec when most other places were closed. The staff is polite, efficient and very professional. I got the results in 3 days and achieved my desired band.

Pathetic customer service, they are robbing us. They are taking 30-45 days just to send the results as if some is crawling to deliver it.
I booked an paper based ielts exam and they make me do my speaking test online and they are asking for more money for my result.
I am disappointed with this kind of service.

I booked my my Ielts with xyna. It ‘s a great experience and i love that. The staff is so cooperative, friendly and talkative. They provide all assistance you required during, after and before of exam. It’s worth to book exam with them.

I have good experience at Xyna International . The place is not much crowded and well organized.Due to some reasons, they canceled my test, but later then, they reached out to me immediately to know my convenience date, time, and location for test booking.
Headphones were provided for listening tests . The hospitality by P. Bindra is above and beyond. Thank you for your service.
